First Ever Stilettos

Well, this was a truly scary experience. I felt like I could fall down any moment now, hah. I hope I get better at wearing them.

Concert Outfit

Never wore a croptop so I have to say - not the most convenient thing to wear, it can get pretty cold, hah. I am happy I found this Yennefer choker and now I can pretend I am Yennefer.

Dex/Faith/Arcane Build?

Hey all!

I am playing my second game with seamless co-op to play with my partner so this is nothing serious. I really want to use Eleonora's Poleblade and Reduvia but I am not really a big fan of the dragon incants. I prefer to stick to black flame, lighting bolt, golden vow, buffs etc. and have a faith seal. Is there a way to combine something with dex/faith/arcane that will be somewhat decent? My first game I was running dex/faith (even though I started as an Astrologer...) and I am kinda really attached to my faith incantations. Thanks!

Some Outfits from a Recent Trip

I didn't take a pic on the last day since I was too lazy/tired to do my hair and make-up. I have become too high maintenance for my own good and now I need to travel with a bunch of stuff.

I would take advice on how to take more interesting selfies.

Lost and Forgotten (the Vampire Lestat animatic)

Hey all! I wanted to share this animatic made by a friend. She got me into the show and I am very thankful for her recommendation.

I hope you all enjoy!

Last Month Misc Photos

Is it relatable that when I look good, I feel bad? I am still not used to dressing differently and getting looks and it's kinda preventing me from trying wilder things.

I used to be super low maintenance to the point of being negligent since I didn't want anyone looking at me or getting any attention. I tried using this style now to feel better about myself, however, I am always super self-conscious and awkward. Especially when wearing my hats, hah, even though I love them.

Can you give me some advice? Thanks!

One Total Noob's Remembrance Tierlist

I finished the game a few weeks back and I felt finally ready to sort my feelings on the Remembrance Bosses.

Now, please keep in mind that I am a total noob. I usually play turn-based games so this was my first time attempting a game like ER. I am very proud that I managed to beat all bosses with a healthbar, however, I used an assortment of tools to make the game easier like summons.

The tierlist is based entirely on how cool I thought the boss was, design-wise, presentation-wise, vibes-wise. I wouldn't even say this is based on gameplay since I am not that deep into it. Some bosses were easy with the tools I had but I still thought they were awesome. Some were super hard on me but I still quite like them for one reason or another, like Astel.

PCR is the one who gave me the most grief by far, nothing comes close, nothing compares, nothing ever made me thought I would quit and call it a day so strongly. Still, I rate him over Gaius since there are things I like about PCR such as the music.

I put Bayle in as I think he should technically count as a Remembrance plus well, he is my number one.

Looking for a Visual Novel Rec

Hey all!

I have played some visual novel games many, many years ago and I am in the mood for something like this right now to keep away from long RPGs for a bit. However, I know absolutely nothing about what is considered good in this genre and what games are out there. Here is the general vibe of what I am looking for:

- A romance game with a few options

- An engaging story with some well-written personalities

- No longer than 50 hours

- Pleasing artstyle (though this is super subjective, I know)

- Characters are adults (as in not playing teenagers, I am too old to be romancing teens)

- Gender and sexuality of the main character and the cast do not matter to me

- Obviously not degrading to any gender or sexuality

- Not vulgar or super sexually explicit, it could explore this but something milder

Thanks!

Tattoo Brainstorm Question - Something from HOMM4

Hey all!

I am working on a design of a all-gaming tattoo of my fave and most influential to my personal life games. The whole thing is inspired by the HOMM3 win-screen so it will be like a small dragon on a pile of gold with artefacts and references to a few games. HOMM3 will be represented by the chest of gold you find on the map and the shield with Erathia's griffon. I was thinking of leaving it like this for HOMM to represent the series as a whole but this feels a bit like revisionist history on my end, lol, since the actual game of my childhood is HOMM4.

I lived for The Gathering Storm campaign and HOMM4 is the actual game that got me into gaming and into fantasy. So I want to somehow honor that given how much space I will provide for HOMM3. Any ideas what I might include from HOMM4? It's harder for me to pick something truly iconic. My fave towns were Preserve and Asylum and my fave character from the campaign was Agraynel.

Thanks!

The Witch and the Witchhunter

I kinda feel this outfit fits both, lol. Trying it out today for the first time, I think it came out cool.

I am putting this as serious in case people don't want to get baffled in their beautiful day, lol.

The new entry in the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise dropped a few days ago and there are a lot of opinions on it already. One person (who is most certainly a guy, though they hide behind an anon account on FB) had just the most insane take - that the game is "woke". So I asked what about it is woke and I present to you some of the arguments:

Conservatives Fear This One Thing

There is one cute creature in the game. I noticed that in general the very serious men of the internet are hating on anything even resembling cute in the game since apparently HOMM is a very serious and dark fantasy (not even a fantasy but how would they know). Not the dragon in the original HOMM looking like this:

Such a Dark Fantasy

  1. There is an elf in the campaign that is, and I quote, "probably trans". An elf, you all. An elf is androgenous, the humanity! I cannot find the pic easily but you can imagine a stereotypical-looking dark elf with long hair. So elves are woke now as well by default, I guess.

Edit: Screenshotted him from my own campaign:

Fancy Elf Inspires Feelings

  1. Lastly, the argument that sent me on a spiral, and I will quote his own comment for this one:

" i just noticed Peasant units carry 'cute' pig under one arm... On battlefield... why... just why... And yeah more I will play more details like this kills the vibe... Seeing crap like this makes me think that best way to play this game is while holding your teddy bear and enjoying vegan coffe with almond 'milk'..."

The New Woke Just Dropped

I hope you at least had a laugh. I decided to stop arguing with insanity and with somebody who clearly does not love the HOMM games. I shall long remember the man with a pig being woke, you can bet on that one...

Hey all, how did you find the trailer for this game? I think it has very strong Witcher 3 vibes and I like the overall look and vibe but the main character is pretty much John Dawnwalker, lol. I know it's way too early to judge the story so I am holding on hope it would have twists and turns. It seems like there will be only one MC, though. I am hoping it will be a good game since I would love to play something similar to The Witcher.

What are your thoughts? Did the trailer win you over? Are you excited?
