KY land claim/ adverse possession laws

I bought a home in 2022 with a ~1/2 acre backyard that abuts a state highway- Part of this backyard does not officially belong to us and is not included on our plat. From what I can gather the highway was built in 1979 and had to eminent domain the edge of the neighborhood- after construction finished the random bits of leftover properties were just tacked on to the yards of the adjacent houses. The highway is separately fenced off and the backyard is contiguous. When you look at the county PVA map the land in question is owned by nobody and isn’t even listed as a parcel. The previous homeowner has maintained this piece of land as if it were just part of the backyard and I’ve done the same. It’s mowed, landscaped, etc.- it’s just my yard as far as I’m concerned. So my question- is there a way to make a legal claim to this property in Kentucky? I’ve read the ‘squatters rights’ criteria which are arguably fulfilled but not sure if it applies to land without a habitable structure. Who would I contact about this if it’s possible? TIA

Why would you do two of the baddest bitches dirty like this? 😭

"Echibeckia," a hybrid between Rudbeckia & Echinacea was in our deliveries today. Every single one had at least one fasciated bloom! Some plants were completely fasciated. I do think it's cool from a horticultural perspective as hybrids can give us so much information on genes & evolution, & of course allows for some fantastic agricultural solutions. These guys though? Hmmmmm.... they're not attractive for landscaping & they aren't beneficial to the ecosystem. What's the point?
