Daug, glutton for toys
My dog chooses to lay on top of her hoard of chew toys like a dragon on its pile of gold.
I keep getting served this advertisement on Reddit. It looks off to me, lighting and it’s too “smoothed”(?)
The plane proportions look off, like the propeller isn’t in the right orientation relative to the fuselage.
The faces look too smooth.
Is the $200 upgrade cost for the Kawi in a JD ZT?
Looking at a 42” John Deere zero turn. Seems like the same mower is $200 extra to get the 21.5hp Kawasaki motor instead of the 20hp John Deere motor. Worth it?
Need any oil filters for your hybrid?
Long story short, I’m a dipshit and bought the wrong filters for my ‘25 Ecoboost. And I just had to make the free shipping threshold, so of course I bought 10. 🤦♀️ My disappointment is immeasurable.
I’d like to sell these to you. They are all unused. I tried to use one, but obviously it didn’t thread in. I would love to rehome all 10 of the little glitter grabbers at once, but I would sell as few as 5.

Your price: $5 each
Shipping: You pay actual shipping. I’m in WI. I will use PirateShip for postage. Maybe around $10?
Let my folly be your boon.
I’m feeling a little stuck/unsure what to do with my financial plan. Should I just stay the course?

Kind of just venting and looking for others that may have shared my experience.
I finished my IT program a couple months ago while working full time. Overall, it was fine. I passed every OA and PA on my first attempt and didn’t have any trouble with the curriculum.
However, the communication from the faculty, mainly my mentor and their leaders (and some instructors) left a poor impression on me.
I deliberately had a moderate pace and finished my program in 3 years. I brought 25 or so CUs from AP tests. My employer reimbursement policy was kind of quirky and did not jive well with the accelerated options at WGU. I
was financially discouraged from accelerating because I received a lesser per-CU reimbursement as I completed more CUs per term. The policy was just not set up well for the cost per term billing plan at WGU. I learned this after accelerating to complete 30+ CUs in my first term to get reimbursed less than $700.
So, I ended up cruising through my 4 courses per term in about a month or less, total. I explained my strategy and financial implications over and over again to my mentor and their bosses. Still, I was almost constantly the target of threatening messages about my lack of engagement and withdrawal implications. I made sure to log in every 10 days, but I inevitably ended up needing to go before my mentor’s boss to “put a plan in place” to re-engage with my studies after not completing a course for some duration. This happened every term.
It was super frustrating because I needed to explain myself over and over again to the same people. All the communication I got from the faculty was very robotic and impersonal, which is fine if it’s effective, but this was super ineffective. It was clear that they were just checking the boxes and going through the motions of “mentoring”.
So glad I’m done. They should really offer a hands-off mentoring option, though I suppose they wouldn’t be able to feel as important in those cases.
