Seastar 1000 GMT Quartz

Repping the Tissot Seastar 1000 GMT quartz today. Loving it on this tropical green rubber, wasn't a massive fan of the Tissot steel bracelet at this price point but now I think I've solved the issue I had.

By default this gets a lot of wrist time as it's my work watch but could see this coming out outside of work now.

What you wearing today? What's your favourite Tissot?

Tissot Seastar 1000 GMT FKM strap recommendations

Good evening hive mind,

I have just acquired a quartz version of the above - I work in Data Centres which contain high level of magnetive materials so I need a good quarts dive style watch.

I have the sprite colours and think a nice green FKM strap would look ace on this any chance anyone has a recommendation

Thanks in advanced

[ideas] quarts dive watches

Good morning hive mind,

I recently bought a mechanical HC which I love and is my first dive watch. I work in a highly magnetic environment therefore can't really wear it day to day, so I'm looking for a good quarts dive watch, this isn't for actual diving so just a good daily wearer and something up to the £600 mark.

Extra points if the watch is unique in its own right rather than just a a direct homage/copy of something else, that said all options considered. Cheaper the better as it's for work

Thanks

Another "joined the gang" post

Really happy day today - have I bought into the HC hype yes, is it a fantastic piece x2 yes, it will be cherished and worn.

39mm Blue, from Chisholm Hunter haggled them down to £1650 which I thought was a bargain.

Really enjoyable wear since I had it on wrist and will deffo dominate my collection for the foreseeable

Struggling with band option..

Hi all,

I am not looking for advice on whether or not the new HC is anywhere close to a BB54/58 as I personally think the BB58 isn't worth double the price of the new HC, so please refrain from commenting just get the BB58 etc.

I went to the dealers today to try on the 39mm and 42mm to see what looked better on my wrist and I am just not sure on what band to go for. What are peoples thoughts on the milanese strap?

pictures of it one would be a bonus point.

where my head is atm is, I like the milanese strap but will I love it in 2 months time? it gives me a variation to my modest collection but don't want to regret it down the road.

appreciate you can only get the 2 colour options in the milanese band so that would be a factor for me if I decide i really like one of those two colour options. I am going to try all the colours on Thursday I have a 17cm wrist what size do you think looks better? green is a quarts 42mm as they didnt have the 42mm auto in stock and the blue is 39mm

Also, the shop offered me a decent discount on the watch too (brand new of course)

£1700 for the 39mm on the 3 link bracelet

£1800 for the 39mm on the milanese.

I think it a cracking deal, what do you think?

Tsuyosa Love

Bought a Raymond Weil last year as a pre wedding present. Since then I have had an urge to start buying watches.

This month I decided what the heck and I started my collection.

Bought the yellow dial after seeing it all over youtube on videos such as "best watches under £500" and PRX killer etc.....

Then saw the small seconds blue dial bloody love the both of them. Yellow one is a bit difficult to pair but I'm not bothered too much about coordinating so just chuck it on with anything. Ordered a yellow rubber to see what it looks like.

Underrated brand, so many good options.
