Im 28 hrs nicotine free and it’s been a living hell so far , way worse than I thought it would be , sobbing on and off all day
How is nobody picking up on Tori being an obvious pill addict? We know from her books she’s a hypochondriac and very neurotic and high strung , constant doctor visits with doctors insisting there is nothing PHYSICALLY wrong with her, her checking herself into a&e while pregnant with a “migraine” and insisting on narcotic meds to treat it and when the attending physician refused she called her OB who convinced the a&e doc to give her IV dilaudid. Being hospitalized with the flu and INSISTING on IV pain meds to treat it. She constantly keeps her children in the ER as well.
She NEVER comes to work and says it’s cuz she’s sick , she just came back to the podcast after being gone 8 weeks and having ppl fill in for her and SHES GONE AGAIN ! No explanation no statement just Elisa Donovan filing the time slot .
Over the years there have been a few articles claiming she’s hooked on pain pills and doesnt clean the home , if there is no housekeeper it apparently just festers until she gets the money to have someone come in to clean , she doesn’t cook they DoorDash multiple meals a day . Her daughter Stella was asked to leave her school a few years ago because Tori kept her HOME constantly. As someone who grew up around addicts who doctor shopped and had every ailment in the world to get there pills and remembers how they just completely shut down and bedrot through the withdrawal when they are out or can’t get their prescription I recognize ALL the signs here with her . I’m convinced dean hasn’t exposed her because he cannot support the kids on his own and he knows this , I’m not sure he wants them full time regardless! Am I the only one who has picked up on what’s obviously going on here with Tori ? I’m astounded noone has put 2 and 2 together yet . You can HEAR that she’s high when she speaks on her podcast , constant slurring and a few times she was asked questions about someone and answered it about someone who the question wasn’t even about !I am so worried about her you guys . This woman has gotten me through some terrible times in my twenties and I hate what’s going on ! JUST ADDING I LOVE TORI VERY MUCH IM ACTUALLY CONCERNED AND I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY NOONE AROUND HER IS HELPING
And woooooow not sure how any woman could comfortably get into a relationship with Anthony.
He has soo many damn issues , he’s in a new “relationship” every 30 or so pages, seems to have very little problem throwing women away when he’s done with them, a glaring commitmentphobe, the amount of cheating is astounding , the drug abuse is overwhelming, (I actually had NO idea Anthony struggled in this way. Granted they were already famous before I was even born ) the amount of times I’ve audibly gasped then burst out laughing is too many to count , (he has an uncanny knack of turning heinous situations into humorous ones ) and *checks notes * I haven’t finished the book but judging by the fact his latest girlfriend is 33 yrs younger than him and the one he was dating less than a yr ago (Helena ) was 19 and he’s cruising toward 65 I doubt he’s resolved his relationship issues or tendency to Hoover his way toward underage barely overage girls.
All in all a very good book but I totally see why he said he regrets writing it and would never have done it if he could go back, it makes him look absolutely terrible.
Don’t get me started on the fact he thought it was totally normal to brag about having sex and living with underage girls . This book shows WHY women did things like timesup and metoo, I’ll always love rhcp as a band but I’ve lost absolutely any respect and admiration I had for Anthony after reading this .
Side note this is probably why we will never get that memoir from flea where he actually talks about his time and experience in rhcp, I don’t even want to know what flea got up to and did over the years , I can’t imagine it was too much better than Anthony.
Anybody else’s narc go out and come back with takeout for only themself ? This was a normal thing when I was with the narc. I would spend my last dime or wouldn’t get anything at all if I couldn’t also get him food , I don’t understand it , I could never do that to someone
And I don’t know how to feel right now . I had a bit of a cry tbh and that hasn’t happened to me since I finished Goodbye Vitamin. I went in thinking this was gonna be a funny dark comedy/satire, and I couldn’t have been more wrong . I am usually pretty good at figuring out where a book is going and I really thought she somehow ended up back in time . My heart is broke for that whole damn family .

I have never been much of a horror reader I’m much more a thriller / memoir person , however I did go thru a nick Robert’s phase last year in which I read every single book he’s written because I fell in love with the exorcist house trilogy, however his last two releases I felt were terrible so I was like welp I guess I don’t have a horror author anymore 😃 insert someone suggesting last days on here a few days ago and I decide let me also check this book out , needless to say I’m on his third book in four days and I just love his Writing so far , I’ve read last days , no one gets out alive , and I just started cunning folk , if there is anyone here who is a fan of his work who would suggest me a good book of his to read after cunning folk I’d appreciate it , happy reading this week 📕

Just finished this today and I thought it was great , solid vampire read if you are into that sort of thing
Pls no body horror or extreme gore , just don’t find that scary just gross , preferably possession ghosts haunting paranormal cults etc, bonus if there is some family dysfunction at play , thank you to anyone who takes the time to send a suggestion ❤️
