what should i be expecting for the next few days? he was exploring his tank earlier, he stared at me a lot with his tongue flicking, and now he’s in his warm hide. i’m resisting the urge to check on him, i don’t wanna scare him 🥲

Can someone tell me what type of butterfly this is?
I found him on the side of the road in Maine on vacation last year, best pet ever. Third photo is how I found him. He lived for almost a week. When I found him, he couldn’t even fly, his wings were all messed up. He started flying the next day after some sun, but he always came back to my hand. I read some things about how butterflies like the salt on our skin, but is it normal to stay that long?
