Referred to jobs on a different account, what do i do?

Ive been referred to some internships on my school email where it is prompting me to make a profile to apply to the roles i was referred to

However i already have an account on a different email from some years ago, and through this account i have already applied for an internship too

What should i do? Should i delete my old account? How do i resolve this situation given ive already applied to a position without a referral?

Should i just leave the old account alone and only apply to different internships on the new account with my referrals?

Just lost some extremely valuable stuff at rest stop

My game was tearing up and lagging when i entered the rest stop, id accidentally died there before but used my revive but the npcs stayed aggro

Lost tactical backpack

Mgl grenade launcher i was gonna bring to gas station to repair

Fully modded shotgun with spread shot i used to clear farm (got from daily season rewards)

And a fully modded glock

Probably gonna quit the game tbh

What would you do if devs made this change?

If they made it so that when raiders come to your base, they dont care about spears or modded spears anymore.

So the trick of keeping a chest with modded spears outside your base to keep the other stuff safe would be removed

And raiders dont care much for melee weapons in general when raiding ur base

How would u react?

Nothing went well with this years course en roll ment, what do i do?

Currently 21st on wl for ECON2150A, only 140 total class size

10th for Geography 2010B with 225 class size

And worst of all, 41st for MOS2275A with a mere 125 class size

Every single one of these classes is necessary and im worried if i dont get into the courses ill be stuck with a very empty courseload and have no options by the time i have to resort to other courses

What do i do? Can i email someone to request they put me into these courses?

Is big4 audit/tax internship the strongest experience for these FT jobs?

Is an audit or tax internship at big4 the strongest, or one of the strongest, internships you can have on your resume for recruiting to accounting or fp&a jobs after graduation?

Is it essentially required almost to have a big4 internship to get a fulltime accounting related job after graduation in this market?

How competitive of a candidate am i for big4 audit/tax internships as a third year undergrad student with 2 YOE at a small accounting firm (where i gained lots of exposure), alongside 2 other private equity internships at boutiques? Alongside various extracurriculars/clubs at school

Ive decided that accounting/fp&a is where i want to be after graduation and want to plan accordingly. I plan to get CPA but a big4 internship might be necessary for that

Likelihood of getting off waitlists for these 2nd year courses?

In 10th spot on waitlist for Geography 2010B (GEOGENV 2010B on student centre)

And in 24th spot for ECON2150A

Will i be enrolled into these courses or should I just take the other prof for ECON2150A and find alternative to geography 2010B?

"CFA Level 1 Candidate" on resume, good or bad?

Ive been trying to make my resume more tailored to the internships i want after receiving some feedback here

But what do you guys really think of putting "CFA level 1 candidate" on there? Any input from recruiters and what you guys think when you see this on a candidates resume?

On this subreddit some people say it shows dedication, interest, etc to have it written on there

While some say its meaningless, fluff, and could get the application discarded

Is a 1-2 liner summary on resume ever appropriate?

Im an undergrad student entering my 3rd year

Had my resume reviewed here and one of the pieces of advice was to actually add a quick summary devoted to helping tailor my resume towards the internships and fields in finance i want

Something about aspiring for cpa, or progress on cfa in there, anything else to be more tailored to the role

But im wondering if its common practice at all, let alone for undergrad students, to have a summary even if only 1-2 lines

And if so, how do you properly integrate it into the resume format and make it pass ats and ai screenings and all that?

Applied for hundreds of internships, not even one interview. What am i doing so wrong?

Quick summary, im 19y/o entering my 3rd year at a semi-target canadian university

Is there something fundamentally wrong with my work exp? Or the way i write about it in my bullets? Not enough extracurriculars? Is my interests section repelling?

Even so, how is it that i cant land even a single interview? Ive even applied to places with referrals but still get ghosted/rejected with no interview. So now im working multiple part time jobs this summer instead of big downtown toronto internships like others at my school/year

Ive been applying across many finance fields but at the end of the day i want to work in FP&A or accounting and pursue a CPA

All help is appreciated and if theres advice on other parts of recruiting for internships besides just resume

What technicals can be expected in interviews for these roles?

Hello,

What technicals can be aksed in interviews for accounting, fp&a, audit, etc types of internships?

Both at regular companies and places like big 4 as well, maybe banks too

Would it be correct to assume there will be some excel based technicals?

How valuable is a T25 MBA for entry level finance roles?

Does it hold much worth for entry level corporate banking, FP&A, commercial banking, etc roles?

Or would a CPA or CFA be more worthwhile for these, especially for fp&a?

Will my (very low) gpa kill my chances at any internships?

Hello,

I am soon starting my junior year at a canadian university and due to various family and personal health issues, my gpa is only a 3.0 after my 2nd year of university

However i have a referral from a Deloitte partner with 20+ YOE there who can advocate for my skills beyond my gpa

I am interested in internships for anything accounting/tax/audit/finance related and my resume has 2 private equity internships, 2 years in financial accounting at a small accounting firm, multiple leadership director roles in uni business clubs, analyst on schools investment fund, 4 years in fast food place with 2y as shift manager

Will my application get discarded due to my transcript and terrible grades before my resume or referral can even do anything? What can i do?

How do i recover for internship recruiting from a very bad gpa?

I will be starting my junior year at a canadian school after this summer

Various family related and personal health issues resulted in me away from university frequently and working a lot, leading me to only have a 3.0 gpa so far

My resume includes 2 private equity internships, 2 years of financial accounting at a small accounting firm, 4 years at a fast food place with 2y as shift manager there and extracurriculars such as leadership director roles in business clubs and analyst on schools investment fund

How do i recover from this and take the steps to ensure i become as competitive as possible for internship recruiting despite my super low gpa? My goal is to work in fp&a/accounting related jobs

Should i just leave my gpa off the resume until i can get to atleast a 3.3 in coming years? Will my application get discarded at any place i apply to that asks for my transcript?

How do I become a better candidate for fp&a/accounting jobs?

Hello,

I will soon be a junior at a Canadian university, and my main experience is 2 private equity internships, 2 Years at a small accounting firm as a financial accounting analyst, and 2 years as a shift manager in a fast food place

For extracurriculars i have a couple leadership director roles in my schools finance related clubs and an analyst on the investment club

My gpa will end up as a 3.5+ by graduation

How do i make myself a better candidate for fp&a and accounting jobs specifically? Am i competitive whatsoever for related internships at the moment?

Will getting my CPA be the biggest boost to my chances first? What other skills, experiences, certifications should i do in my remaining 2 years of school?

Is it normal for skin to sting a bit with this routine?

Hello all,

I started using tazarotene 0.045% + azelaic acid 15% about a week ago

And my skin stings/slightly burns around the nasolabial fold area next to my nose after finishing my routine

Mainly after applying moisturizer and sunscreen on top of my azelaic acid in the morning

Is this normal for the first week? Im not sure if its the moisturizer and sunscreen because they are supposed to be gentle and soothing and lightweight

Also could this be because my skin barrier has been completely destroyed by the week of tazarotene and azelaic acid? My forehead and cheekbones dont sting its only really the nasolabial fold
