How many monkeyfolks is enough monkey, folks?

I’m not trying to bash the developers, the new parts are great and it’s clear they put a lot of time and effort into them. I’m grateful for all the regular free updates, but I can’t help but question where the team’s priorities are at. Do we really need yet another simian species, especially since we’ve gone literal years without a decent lizardfolk or aquatic update? Again, it’s a good update, but I it does leave me wishing they put their effort elsewhere

Insane to me how Aquaman is the one who got written off as a joke and made fun of for decades when you remember that Hawkman exists

How can there be sunlight poking through to the Putrescent Knight’s arena if we’re supposed to be underneath the ocean?

Dragon’s Hoard

DESCRIPTION:
A dragon’s hoard is a large pile of gold, jewels, and other valuable objects stolen and collected by a dragon. Dragons usually keep their hoards in caves, but can also choose to keep them within the basements, attics, or garages of people’s homes. These act as the dragon’s nest, and can often be found sleeping on top of or underneath the pile.

DANGER:
It is advised to avoid disturbing or taking anything from a dragon’s hoard. Dragons are extremely defensive of their hoards, and will attack anyone who dares steal from them. Even if the dragon is away at the time, they will know when something has been taken. Dragons are extremely dangerous, and can inflict deadly injuries or cause a house fire.

SOLUTION:
The best way to deal with a dragon’s hoard is to leave it alone. If one is so inclined, one can employ certain charms to ward off the dragon, causing it to relocate its hoard elsewhere. If the dragon refuses to leave, one can also contact HSA’s pest removal service.

Official canon characters who feel like fanmade OCs.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Probably the best example of this. He’s the dark and edgy counterpart to Sonic. He’s black and red, is super brooding all the time, has a tragic backstory, and he uses GUNS. He definitely feels like a character an emo teenage Sonic fan would’ve came up with in the 2000s

Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z: Also has big OC energy. He’s a fighter from a dystopian future, and the son of Vegeta and Bulma (who had only barely spoken at this point in the series). He can go super saiyan, and he has a cool sword and jacket. He also appears like some teenager’s Dragon Ball OC you’d see on an early forum

Sabo from One Piece: Another infamous example, he’s the long lost brother of Luffy and Ace (who was never mentioned before) He wears a cool steampunk-esque outfit and he has armament haki, and he’s the chief of staff in the revolutionary army, and he gets Ace’s devil fruit. Yet another character you’d probably see drawn up by a teen as part of their One Piece fan fiction.

Does this fit convey a mixture of intelligence and faith well?

Crimson Hood
Astrologer Robe (Altered)
Warrior Gauntlets
Old Sorcerer’s Legwraps
Rellana’s Twin Blades

This is my NG+ build where I’m trying to level faith to be equal to my intelligence, and using Staff of the Great Beyond to cast sorceries and incantations in tandem. I want a fit that communicates the duality between intelligence and faith, and am open to suggestions on what pieces to change. I also want to communicate a rugged warrior background and skilled swordsmanship.

I hate these dumbass images and the oversimplification of complex social issues

I’m not out here defending billionaires or saying they play bo part in the polarization of society, but this cut and dry idea is super naive and uninformed.

First, like in this image, it portrays both the left and the right as ignorant to the “true powers that be” when in reality leftist circles are acutely aware of how billionaires manipulate the media to divide people.

My second problem with this sentiment is that it pretends that issues like racism, misogyny, and queerphobia will just stop being a problem if we get rid of the ruling class. It ignores centuries of pre-capitalist bigotry baked directly into many societies. It assumes that prejudice is a product of capitalist manipulation, and not coopted to fit its need.

It boils down the real and difficult struggle for civil and human rights into silly bickering meant to “distract us from the real issues”. It comes off as victim blaming against those affected by prejudice for not uniting with people who hate their existence.

It’s baby’s first class consciousness, and reeks of privilege and lack of personal experience with bigotry. It’s reddit circlejerk shit plain and simple

[HATED DESIGN TROPE] Half-assed anthropomorphism

From Left to Right: Cats (2019), Avowed, Concord, and Arthur.

Basically when any media has anthropomorphic/anthro-adjacent characters, but don’t go far enough with the animal features and just make a regular ass human covered in fur. It can work sometimes, but most of the time they end up looking really ugly and uncanny
