Finally got this thing dialed in on Intrax 1K2 coilovers with 18x10s wrapped in 275s. Truly impressed with the suspension setup, and I’ve owned a lot of the top-tier brands on the market.

It’s almost “too good” in the sense that I can’t find the limit on the backroads. So, to the track we go.

Daily driving? Super composed. Backroads? Insanity.

I’ve only owned it a year and held off for a while before doing any major mods, but this completely transformed the experience without ruining what makes this platform special.

* Oh, and yep, E90. Apparently Reddit decided the sedan doesn’t get its own place.

Started off like everybody else with a generic Sun Joe. Eventually upgraded to the Ryobi 1.8 GPM unit, which honestly is a fantastic little machine and never gave me a reason to complain.

Did a little Facebook Marketplace hustling and recently snagged a MaxFlow MPower 2.5 Gen 2.

Don’t get me wrong, the Ryobi was great. It was a huge step up from the Sun Joe and honestly punched way above its weight. But the Maxflow is on another level.

All the quirks people love to complain about are definitely there, but none of them bother me. The noise? Fine. The pressure cycling and occasional “loading up”? Irrelevant. The thing does exactly what it’s supposed to do and, if anything, has exceeded my expectations so far.

The only advice I’d give new owners: don’t fill the oil from the bottom. Pop the side cover off and fill it through the case. It’s easier, cleaner, and frankly just makes a lot more sense.

Overall, extremely impressed with it. Finalizing all the plumbing later this week so I can rid myself of using a garden hose.

Watch keeps excellent time, looks great and is exactly what you would expect from VSF. Turns out I like the idea of a sprite more than I actually like wearing one — not sure why.
