High Heart Rate but No Symptoms

Hi. I have diagnosed POTS and I'm on ivabridine 5mg x2 daily, low dose naltrexone, + daily electrolytes for it. This basically made me symptom free.

Got a fitbit recently and noticed my heart rate still jumps 30-50 BPM whenever I stand up but I have no symptoms. Is this something I should see my doctor about? Or is it okay that this happens because no symptoms?

Insomnia + DSPD + Sleep Apnea

Honestly I'm posting here in hopes that someone will tell me this isn't possible as a combination yet that wouldn't change my sleep issues anyway sigh. 3 sleep disorders is a poorly made joke.

At around ~11 I developed DSPD. Went to bed 12-3am originally woke up for school at 8-8.30am. Sometimes I would scallop and go 3-6am but would always come back to ~3am. Discovered DSPD at 13, really related to it and accepted this as something I probably had but moved with life and eventually forgot about this.

Age 16 I developed severe insomnia. Tested a few meds but what works is a combination of 2 high dose antipsychotics and mirtazapine. Been stable on these doses for close to 2 years. Originally they likely sedated me but I'm unsure due to poor memory (not sleep related). If I don't take my pills I am wide awake until 8am and my sleep is broken.

I got diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea at 18, likely had symptoms from at least 16, maybe earlier. Been on CPAP since and AHI of 6 with CPAP last test, basically no symptoms anymore.

Now: age 21. I take my insomnia pills every night but I've found that my body needs to be tired for me to actually fall asleep. This ranges 12-4am , usually around 2-3am. I wake up roughly 12 hours later (this likely a mix of a medication side effects and my body needing more sleep after years of poor sleep). It doesn't matter what time I take my sleep pills, the onset of tiredness is the same (it varies widely day to day, I can post my log if anyone's interested).

I could see a doctor about this but that likely won't be until sometimes in 2027 because I need my money for other stuff and this isn't really a priority since I don't care for treatment really, my life works around my sleep. Obviously no one here can diagnose me but is this even possible? To have all three at once?

too trusting of strangers

today i went to a shop with mama far away from home and on the way back mama needed to pee so she tried to find a side road to go and i suggested she go knock on someones door and ask to go but she didn't do that and waited til we got home but it reminded me how trusting i am. i would let stranger in if they needed toilet.

during my PIP reassessment they asked mama if i would let a stranger into the house if they knocked, i find it weird they asked that because what if they needed help?

people say i am too trusting of people and tend to see the best in everyone. is this a bad thing? i think people are nice and good and we should treat them nicely.

how many of us can drive?

i want to learn to drive, mama is supportive she thinks i can do it but im really scared. i wanna drive a motorcycle seems easier than a car but motorcycle requires special clothes which would be a sensory nightmare so car is my option. mama said she will make the car pink if i learn to drive (i love pink)

wondering how many ppl here can drive? how hard was it learn? anything i should know?

do i need to treat my dspd?

Hi everyone, I've had DSPD since early adolescence but I always ignored it really. In school I would sleep 2-6am and wake up at 8am fully rested and okay. Now I do online school at my own pace so I don't need to wake up and instead I've cycled to sleeping 12 hours every night (lots of reasons for this, doesn't bother me to sleep that long), usually 12-3am to 12-3pm. Though I scallop my sleep timing a lot.

My question is, do I need to treat this? Life kind of falls around my natural sleep cycle, I know people with N24 tend to free run if they can and that works best for them, does the same apply to DSPD?

Maybe I could work on sleeping less overall but it generally doesn't bother me too much. It'd just be waking up earlier rather than changing the time I fall asleep.

Egg freezing + hysterectomy on NHS

Has anyone gotten egg freezing on the NHS? If so what was that process like?

Also has anyone gotten a hysterectomy on the NHS primarily for trans reason?

I finally got a gynaecology appointment and I plan to ask for a total hysterectomy with ovaries removed to help my dysphoria + gynea issues but I don't have a dysphoria diagnosis or anything (I DIY hormones). Is it still possible to get it without a diagnosis?

I also do want children eventually so egg freezing seems like the best option here but I'm in Northern Ireland and we only have one fertility clinic so if they don't accept me I can't try a different one.

Adding Grain to Grain Free Dog Food

Hello, I'm looking for high quality dog food for my senior dog and I'm wondering whether I could add grains to grain free dog food to make it okay? Or should I look for dog food that already has grains in it?

One of the grain free recipes:

Dehydrated Salmon (35%), Dried Potato, Pea Protein, Coconut, Dried Egg, Dried Peas, Dried Carrot (5%), Dried Vegetable Stock, Linseed, Minerals, Rapeseed Oil, Dried Courgette (1%), Dried Spinach, Dried Broccoli, Dried Algae (0.15%, source of Omega 3), Dried Strawberries (0.2%), Dried Chicory Root (0.05%), MOS (0.05%), Glucosamine (0.05%), Chondroitin (0.05%).

I was thinking of doing 50% brown rice, 50% this dog food but I'm unsure whether that's good or not.
