What’s a non-AI task in your workflow that you refuse to automate?

Everyone is trying to automate every part of marketing with AI... from copy and image generation to customer outreach and strategy.

But what’s one step in your process where AI completely misses the mark, and doing it manually still yields drastically better results? (e.g., customer interviews, positioning, raw data analysis, etc.)

Emergency fund of 12 months in FD feels wasteful but moving it feels wrong

Current emergency fund is 12 months of expenses (~9L) in a sweep FD at 6.75%. Post-tax ~4.7%.

Whenever I see the number I feel two things: glad it's there (peace of mind in money form), and annoyed that 9L is earning less than inflation.

Considered moving 6 months to liquid funds plus 6 months to something with longer lock-in. But the second I think about putting "emergency" money in anything with even T+1 settlement my brain throws an alarm. How do you all structure emergency funds? Am I overthinking instant access?

I feel like big tech is making us pay for their AI research and data centres expenses by inflating the CPMs and CPCs? I don't remember the costs being so high, even bidding on your own brand keywords us way more expensive now.

AirPods Pro (2nd Gen)

Pros: Best-in-class Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), superior bass, and a more secure fit with silicone tips. Includes advanced features like Conversation Awareness and a case with a built-in speaker for "Find My."

Cons: Higher price; some find the "plugged" ear feeling uncomfortable.

AirPods 4 (with ANC)

Pros: Most comfortable for all-day wear (no silicone tips). Surprisingly good noise cancellation for an open design. Smaller, more portable case.

Cons: ANC isn't as powerful as the Pro; battery life is slightly shorter.

AirPods 4 (Standard)

Pros: Most affordable current model; great for basic calls and podcasts.

Cons: No Noise Cancellation; case lacks wireless charging and Find My speakers.

The Verdict: Get the AirPods Pro if you travel or work in loud offices. Get the AirPods 4 with ANC if you hate the feeling of ear tips but still want some peace and quiet.
