I thought this was interesting as we have never seen mink in the 20 years. We’ve lived here. We caught one on one of our cameras a few weeks ago at night and then caught another one during the day. I guess we have two or even more now.
Got rid of the 14 yards we got last fall. We mainly put down about 12in over our existing garden beds and was able to get rid of probably another 300sq feet of lawn.
Funny thing, we had a massive storm on the 4th of July and we we pretty much had gone through all our woodchips from last fall. Decided to re-up chip drop after we got power back on the 8th, on the 9th I got a message in the morning saying we will have a delivery in the next 48 hours. Well lol that ended up being an hour later. Talked with the guys delivering, this was just shy of 30 yards from oak trees a few miles away. We were joking that we wouldn't need chip drop for a few years but I feel like we could probably get through this in the late fall, next spring, and next summer.
Its funny because we live in the woods but most of our property is the woods so not enough room to have another drop or two.... oh well
