What 3 Row SUV for $35K?

We are in the market for a 3 Row SUV and have narrowed it down to the below three options right around the same price ($35,000).

  1. 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek

  2. 2024 Kia Sorento Prestige

  3. 2024 Subaru Ascent Onyx

We are a family of 4 with two growing boys. We are an outdoorsy family and a camping trip a few weeks ago really highlighted that we need more space. While we don't have a camper now, we may get a small teardrop camper in the future. We have had a Murano for our last two vehicles (15 years total) and have had no issues with them. Our normal life is typical suburban life driving kids back and forth to things (12K miles per year). We currently don't need it to commute to a job.

The pic shows our rankings of each vehicle (1 best to 3 worst) and as you can see they are close overall.

Pathfinder: Most functional considering size and comes with the standard roof rack and towing hitch. Less tech, but that's not a priority for us. We are comfortable with Nissans (maybe to our detriment).

Sorento: Most fun to drive and best interior. Worried about long term reliability as we keep our cars for 8+ years. Towing capacity is essentially zero so we can't get a camper if we go with this option.

Ascent: A bit boring, but we like the reliability. My brother and sister own five Subaru's in their families and they love them. Solid interior and tech. Seems to be a good compromise between the other two options.

We considered many other options, but Highlanders and Pilots were too expensive and CX-90 was not our style.

How to clear up?

Free Chlorine=1.5, total Alkalinity=60 ppm, pH=7.6. I’ve had the pump running 24/7 for 2 weeks (mostly low) and on high the past 2 days. When I rinse the filter stuff comes off, but nothing substantial. It’s a single cartridge Hayward filter. I’ve shocked it a few times.

Any suggestions on how to clear it up?

Is this a good price for glass ($270 on 29 lbs)?

Starting the hobby after taking a class and noticed a lot of glass on marketplace ($9.3/lb). Description below.

“Clearing studio space. 29 lbs stained glass cut-offs.
Majority is vintage Spectrum or current Kokomo. Mix of cathedral, opalescent, and streaky. Some iridized, some pink.”

Kitchen Refresh / Unflip

We are unflipping our 1925 Colonial slowly. Replaced flooring, backsplash, trim, and painted. The detail I like most is the trim now matches the original house trim. I had to DIY the mill work.

Flooring was LVP and is now marmoleum tiles.

I just got a Pioneer PL-400 and replaced the cartridge. It only had red, white, and blue wires. I’m getting a hum in one speaker and the ground is connected.

It’s because I’m missing a green wire correct?
