what is it about churus?!?!
i got phoebe a year and half ago, and she is my best friend in the whole wide world. she is the sweetest girl, but she has a very mild temperament and isn’t easily excited by toys or treats. (she always has toys available and i try to play with her, but she usually isn’t interested) she greenie catnip flavored treats, but she usually leaves any other treat on the floor. however,,,, she LOVES churus. i don’t get them very often because they’re a little pricey for everyday treats, but i try to restock every time i go to the store to get her food. i get that churus are super delicious for kitties, but phoebe knows that im getting a churu from her treat box just from the sound of me grabbing it. and i swear, she’s had churus maybe 10 times in her life. she runs to me immediately when i get a churu and starts meowing super loud, and then goes FERAL on the tube until it’s empty!! she never is like for anything else ever lol!!! i’m definitely going to start buying them for her more often, but i was wondering if anyone knows why she acts like this for churus!!!

overwhelmed about choosing schools to apply to
before anything, i want to acknowledge the privilege i have in that i can go virtually anywhere in the country for law school. my parents are helping me, i am rather young, and i have no children or mortgages or anything tying me down to a specific area. i am from the regional south and went to college in a different southern state.
i am beginning to compile a list of schools to apply to in the fall for this next admission cycle. i am taking the LSAT for the 2nd time in september, and i am consistently testing around the mid160s currently. i am staying optimistic, but im beginning to seriously look at schools with their medians around the mid160s.
other than my lsat (which i do believe i can get up, and i am willing to take another year to study for it if i cannot), i think i am a pretty strong applicant to schools such as tulane, UArk, and other flagship schools in my area.
i have never particularly wanted to stay in the south, though i am definitely not against it. i plan on applying to several schools in the south.
i have not done very much travelling in the country, other than to the PNW. i feel very lost on deciding where i want to go to law school. part of me wants to go somewhere like new england or the midwest just to be somewhere different?? i feel like i should figure out an area i would feel comfortable living in and practicing in, but i don’t know where to even begin. how are yall figuring out where you want to live?!! i was not anticipating this very early part of the application process being this stressful.

hey y’all, i’m from central ar but im visiting a friend who’s staying in washington ar for the summer. are there any decent water holes/lakes/rivers around within ~50 mins driving distance that we could feasibly swim in? it’s his birthday!!

updating to tahoe help
hi everyone. i’m pretty bad with computers despite being in college and need some help updating my 2020 macbook air (currently Big Sur) to Tahoe.
it is connected to a charger, i have cleared over 40 GB of storage, cleared my caches, restarted my laptop (twice on safe mode whatever that means) multiple times, have a stable internet connection, and have visited several different websites to troubleshoot with no luck. i even tried chatgpt which is against my moral code.
i navigate to settings > software update > upgrade now (to macOS tahoe), and it prompts me to begin the installation. it starts to install, starting at 59 mins remaining. in about 5 minutes, it jumps to 31 minutes remaining, and then the message in the picture appears.
i’m extremely lost on what to do. i feel like ive exhausted everything. when i look for help on reddit and other sites, people are using jargon i don’t understand. i just want to update my computer so i can play minecraft with my friends.
