Anyone know why kom.club is not updated with the latest Strava challenges? I resorted back to looking at other profiles to find hidden Strava challenges. The kom.club emails were really helpful but I’ve stopped receiving them the past week or so, and the website has no updates on the latest challenges.
I have a shopping addiction specifically with bags. Yesterday, i saw a bag for sale I’ve had my eye on for a while and was about to purchase it but i immediately came to this subreddit and searched for posts related to bags and it truly helped me ease my mind and stopped myself from purchasing it. And then today i got hit with a broken appliance that’ll cost about the same as the bag to fix so I’m glad i did not splurge on something unnecessary. Crazy how life works.
New Garmin Forerunner 570 user, switched from my Apple Watch Series 9, currently training for my first marathon. Why does my Garmin watch say I run faster than my Apple Watch? For example, I just did my speed track workout today for a 1 mile time trial. My Garmin said I ran it in 8:42/mile. However, my average mile time on my past runs with my Apple Watch says I’m ~10:30/mile. Why the vast discrepancy? I run at the same cadence and everything.

So my sister and I both did breath tests and came back positive for H. pylori, but our doctors gave us completely different medication plans and now I’m confused lol.

Metronidazole 500 mg — 3x/day for 14 days
Tetracycline 500 mg — 4x/day for 14 days
Pepto-Bismol — 2 tablets, 4x/day
Omeprazole 40 mg — 2x/day
My meds:
Amoxicillin 500 mg — 2 capsules, 3x/day ($25.69)
Omeprazole 40 mg — 3x/day ($19.03)
Rifabutin 150 mg — 1x/day ($127.69 😭🫠)
Is it normal to get totally different treatments for the same thing?
Has anyone here taken either of these combos—how was it?
And is rifabutin actually worth it, or should I ask my doctor about a cheaper alternative?
Would love to hear anyone’s experience because right now I’m mostly just stressed about that price WITH insurance 😅🫠
I’ve had my eye on the garmin forerunner 570 for a long time now and the cloud blue with Whitestone 42mm is currently 18% off ($100 off) on Amazon. Is this the best deal or will it get even cheaper? I know Amazon prime day is in two and a half weeks. Will it be even cheaper then? I’ve read posts saying sometimes garmin watches get 20% or even more off. When do they typically happen? I just need it before October when I run my first full marathon. Any advice or suggestions are welcomed, thank you!!
My dad passed away two months ago and he was the main account holder. I finally got around to contacting T-Mobile to remove his line and replace me as the primary account holder for my family plan. The T-Mobile Outbound Resolutions Team is truly empathetic and helpful in letting us keep our grandfathered T-Mobile ONE plan (IYKYK). We’ve been with T-Mobile since March 2006 and we don’t see ourselves moving to other mobile companies anytime soon. 20 years in the making.
