What's the goal of the indexation? Really!

What's the purpose of the indexation if all the prices will increase after we get it? And most if the time the prices increase more than 2.5%!!

New to nespresso. Need help with confusing question.

Hey guys, hope my stupid question doesn't offend anyone.

I want to buy a new nespresso machine, one of my friends is advising to buy the one that's for the new Vertuo pods, and my other friend is telling me to buy a machine that goes with the older model of capsules because then i can change from nespresso to another brand (Starbucks, illy,...etc) in case i ever wanted to.

What do you guys think? I mean the Vertuo looks newer but what advantages does it have?

Thank you!!

Crazy question, but is it legal to fire someone for refusing to work overtime and the manager knew that that person is looking for another job?

If no but the guy was fired anyway, how should they proceed?

Do you think the real estate prices in Lux will be affected by the ECB raising the interest rates? Or do you think this is the lowest it could ever be?

Have you ever been to Havana, Cuba? How was it?

I always wondered how are the vibes there, is it magical as everyone imagines? What is interesting and what to avoid?

Please please please soneone tell me this is a joke and job market is not THAT bad out there!

Trilingual, assuming integrate means manage since it's senior and the team is not seniors, asking for 3 years of experience to do tasks that require more years of experience, and only paying 75k?

Am i wrong for thinking it should pay more?!! It's either the market is very bad and the competition is high, or i'm overreacting, and i wish the latter.

Do you think cross border employees get the same benefits as local residents for the same job?

We've been discussing in previous posts that some (if not most) companies prefer cross border employees because one of their benefits is that they can recruit them for a less sal/ary than local residents, do you think it's true?

Feel free to drop your feedback as well!

Are you pro or against companies in lux to have a quota to employ residents against cross-border employees?

Sone might say that companies in Lux should employ a certain % from it's employees from its own residents instead of employing cross/border workers, are you with or against that?

Other than rent, how much do you spend on monthly expenses? Are you single or a family?

I swear this is not a stat post, i'm just curious how much people spend on monthly expenses (groceries, hang outs, family time... Etc)

Anyone on this sub was able to change employers in the last year? The job market seems really dead!!

I've been intensely applying for another job (finances operations) for approx. a year and half and all i could land is one interview and which i was ghosted after.

All jobs i applied for wanted the same qualifications as i have (sometimes i be overqualified), i know how to use all kinds of ERP, have 4 languages, and i'm luxembourgish (no sponsorship needed).

Can someone please advise where to search for a job other than LinkedIn?

Thanks!
