Jabber client: Join public MUC room

Hello everyone,

On Jabber client (in my case on Windows), i'd like to join some public MUC rooms like we do with other XMPP clients.
It seems there is no option to join a room by its JID.

Am I just blind or what? :D

Thank you much :)

Just showing the tiny TVs I keep at my desk because the rest of my appartment is full.

Hello everyone :)

A few days ago, I showed a photo of a Thomson Life Sugar, and I realized I could share a photo of some of my other color tiny sets.

Here a partial family photo of some of the ones I have to store at my desk because I don't have any space left elsewhere.
The one which is on turned on is a Sony KV-9PT60 with a Raspberry Pi connected to it. I use it most of the time when I am at my desk.
All of the other are not usually there, it was for the photo.

I live in Europe, so it is probably not very common to have these two Sony units, since they are NTSC, but a Pi can output both PAL and NTSC.

You don't see my other tiny sets, but I have 3 color TV/radio/clock, a color TV/radio, and a B/W set. I'll try to take pictures of them at some point.

Of course I also have "normal sized" TVs: 2 Sony KV-16WT1 and 2 Sony KV-20WS1.

Printer parts and supplies sellers in Europe

Hello everyone,

I own a C750i and a C258, and i'd like to know where to buy parts.

On my C750i there are some missing covers on the back and some round covers on screw holes on the side and I am looking to buy what is missing. Also, there are some rollers and stuff like this I will need to replace at some point.

Also, I've seen some kits for refurbishing the developer units with a chip and some developer. I assume it costs a lot less than replacing the dev unit itself.

Does someone have some suppliers for this kind of things?

Thank you much :)

Simple big font skin for tiny TVs

Hi everyone!

I am looking for something a bit special. These times, people are getting very big screens, but i'm still using CRT TVs, and sometimes very small ones (5/6"). They are all connected via coax and UHF modulator and I like this setup a lot.

I've been using Kodi with the 480p modded Confluence skin for a while, but in some cases it is not practical at all.

Is someone here aware of a very big font and very basic skin for Kodi? I've been trying a lot of skins and I can't find one that suits my needs. I'm looking for a skin without content on screen borders (since on CRT we often overscan) and big text interface.

Thank you much !

FOSS move from Sharepoint/Exchange/Office servers

Hi everyone,

I'm in a Windows environment and I am experimenting some selfhosted software to replace Sharepoint/Onedrive, Exchange and Office servers.

I have set up Mailcow, Nextcloud and Onlyoffice. I connected the Onlyoffice server to Nextcloud. Nextcloud is connected to Active Directory, and file storage is provided by our Windows file server (Nextcloud doesn't host files, it is only used for web access, no syncing with desktops). Mailcow's webmail (Sogo) is not used, we use mail clients on computers, and Nextcloud's mail extension for a webmail.

What I like in this configuration is this:
When a user has an account, he just have to log into Nextcloud, and automatically he has access to his personal and shared directories in the Webif, the same way he does on a PC, and he can access his mails directly on Nextcloud. And all of this without having to configure stuff.

But after doing some tests, users reported the Nextcloud mail client is annoying to use and not very efficient, Nextcloud interface is a bit slow and bloated, so I'm looking for other solutions which could be integrated like this.

Recently, I've seen Stalwart can be a good and lightwieght mail server, Bulwark a mail client to go with and which can include Collabora, but (i may be wrong) it's missing a product like Nextcloud to access files remotely and share some of them with third parties.

Do you know a good and free solution like a web access to files, with (i imagine) a mail tab and office integration which could work with Active directory users and Windows file server? I'm looking for something where users doesn't have to configure anything like with our MS or Nextcloud system.

Thank you much :)

Hello everyone!
Weird problem here.

I had to rebuild my Exp-C and E a few weeks ago, and updated it to 15.5 and everything was working well. I'm running CUCM/CUP/UC 15 SU1

But today, i had a power outage and when restarting, everything went well, except for Jabber clients not able to login.

I'm using only collab-edge login, and my Exp-E is presenting a valid and fresh Let's Encrypt cert.

When I try to login, these are the logs shown:

  • On E:traffic_server[8380]: Event="Sending HTTP error response" Status="401" Reason="Unauthorized" Dst-ip="172.17.10.175" Dst-port="59078" UTCTime="2026-05-02 15:36:13,618"
  • on C:edgeconfigprovisioning: Level="WARN" Service="ECS" Detail="Request failed" User="('username', 'XXX@domain.com')" Issue="Unable to determine home CUCM" Reason="UDS not available" TrackingID="57259926-aae8-48d8-8842-13d1e8a66576" UTCTime="2026-05-02 15:36:13,604"edgeconfigprovisioning: Level="WARN" Service="ECS" Detail="Request failed" User="('username', 'XXX')" Issue="Unable to determine home CUCM" Reason="UDS not available" TrackingID="4642a015-686d-4944-a0da-9f4c6c810b07" UTCTime="2026-05-02 15:36:13,547"

UDS DNS record doesn't exist. I am in a scenario where all Jabber clients connect via collab-edge, like in universities.

I tried to check my AD connection (login to Self Service with AD users works), checked in CUCM End users pane and their home cluster is still checked, etc. Everything seems to be there.

If someone has an idea, i would gladly appreciate it!

Thank you much!

Edit: The thing solved itself. I'm kind of embarrassed because I did reboot the Expressways just after experiencing the problem, and after no config change, a second reboot solved everything... Thank you to everyone, I have been checking every suggested parameter at least! :)
