I may have found the tree Eddie escaped from.
Check out the interesting texture on the bark, last pics.

FEAR OF THE BARK!
Gained 6 pounds riding during the week, which is not unusual for a week tour with me. The weight is coming off pretty fast though.
Was on 7.5mg pre-ride but constipation and heartburn were a problem. So I dropped down to 5mg the week of the ride. I think that did help.
First two days, both nutrition and hydration were both a learning curve and a real challenge. not my first bike touring rodeo, but I was concerned about lack of appetite on Zep for a good reason . Snack bars and Gatorade only get you so far. Had to do force stop myself for real meals during the day and eat very good in the evening such as my fish fry pic above. Btw, I could not finish that plate nor the drink that night. Not shown, I had a salad as well.
As far as G.I. issues, as long as I hydrated well they were a few. I actually pooped like a champ and lost a couple pounds every morning before I took off on the ride. Coffee helps with that ;). I don’t think I’ve ever been so gassy in my life. I was fart propelling myself up hills!
Got another bicycle tour in about a month hopefully I’ll be a little smarter and wiser.
Been on Zep for a few months now, 7.5ml currently. Sure I’ve had typical belching and heartburn, which have been tolerable since I started taking Omeprazole daily. Some constipation.
But last week I went on a cycling tour - over 400 miles. Ate more, drank more, exercised a lot obviously. And holy CRAP, my body turned into a farting and pooping machine. I think I crapped more than I ate every day. Power farts that probably turbo-boosted me cycling up hills. BIG farts like every 1/2 hour and BIG poops 2x daily.
Like I don’t know where it all came from. How can my body produce and store that much? Yeah, I ate lots of bananas, peanut-butter and drank a lot of electrolyte water. Still the math doesn’t hardly work out.
Going to step on the scale in the morning to see if I lost a bunch more weight…
Been doing more and more travel and weeklong supported bicycling tours where I need a good waterproof duffel to keep all my gear in. Someone please recommend me a good one? Thanks in advance.
Because as I crouched down to the throne, my head WACKED the edge of that rack.
Recently I’ve been enjoying the En Vivo Blue Ray and would also love to get Rock in Rio. Did a little shopping online but have only found the CD and standard DVD versions. Is there a Blue Ray version?
Pic just for fun, someone else’s work that seems oddly Maiden-ish. Up the Irons!
Up the Irons Odysseus!
Maybe just my imagination! Lol. Down only about 15#. But almost like there’s less hard fat and more squishy fat? Anyone else experience something like that?
A nice connection. Makes me wonder if it is instinct for their species.
I had a C6-7 neck fusion back about 7 years ago, which resolved any major nerve pain and most problems in the area, but the tightness is back with a vengeance this year!
I’m a big Clyde at 6’3” and 270#, so my traps are definitely supporting a big, heavy melon that is cantilevered forward in most riding conditions. Suspension stem on my road bikes helps a little with rough roads.
I’ve been doing all sorts of PT for the neck and shoulders, it helps, but maybe there’s other tips and tricks ya’ll have? I’m getting frustrated addressing with the usual Ibuprofen, ice, heat, message, etc.
Honestly, the worst thing I’ve seen all week…
