🇵🇰 Indian/General Racism & Hostility Towards Pakistanis Megathread

In light of the racism megathread created on the Indian side, we’re making one here as well to document racism, xenophobia and targeted hostility towards Pakistanis.

These conversations often end up being treated as if the problem only exists on one side, so this thread is simply here to keep the record clear and in one place as evidence that this is at least a mutual exchange.

If you come across something relevant, please include:

📸 A screenshot
🔗 A link/source, if available
📝 Brief context if it isn’t obvious from the screenshot

This is for documenting genuine racism or targeted hostility, not ordinary disagreements, criticism, memes or Wplace rivalry, however feel free to post if you feel it to be relevant.

Please do not use anything posted here to brigade, harass or mass-report other users or communities. Report rule-breaking through the appropriate channels and keep discussion here civil.

The point is documentation, not escalation. 🇵🇰

This is a new home for Pakistan on WPlace, and we’re trying to bring Pakistani players together under one community. 🇵🇰

Our main goals are:

🇵🇰 Defend Pakistan — Protect our territory and make sure Pakistan has a strong presence on every map.

🤝 Build a united community — Coordinate Pakistani players so we can actually work together instead of everyone placing pixels randomly.

🗺️ Adapt to the map — Pakistan can go from owning a huge area to barely existing overnight 😭. We want to stay organized and respond quickly when things change.

🎨 Create and maintain artwork — Work together on flags, borders, and other Pakistani designs across WPlace.

📢 Coordinate with other communities — Build friendly relations and alliances where it benefits Pakistan.

If you’re currently part of another Pakistani WPlace community, we’d love for you to join us here too. The goal isn't just another subreddit — it's to build a strong, active Pakistani WPlace community.

Join r/wplacepak and help us put Pakistan on the map. 🇵🇰🔥

🇮🇳 Indian Griefing Megathread

Use this thread to report Pakistani artwork that has been damaged, overwritten, or griefed. 🇵🇰

Please include the coordinates 📍, a screenshot 📸, and the original/template 🖼️ if you have it. A short note on what needs fixing is helpful too.

Try to keep griefing reports here instead of making a new post for each one, so everything is easier to track and restore. 🛠️

This thread is for reporting damage and coordinating repairs — not for harassing other users or communities.

Help Finding an IATA-Compliant Crate for air travel

Has anyone here ever flown with a bird before? Specifically I’m flying with a Sun Conure with Emirates.

Can recommend an IATA-compliant crate?

I’m a bit confused because IATA has fairly specific requirements for live bird transport, but I’m not sure where to find crates that actually meet those standards since they’re so oddly specific and I get no search results when I search for them to buy them.

If you’ve flown a similar-sized parrot with Emirates or any airline for that matter or have dealt with these IATA requirements, I’d really appreciate knowing:

What crate you used (brand/model if possible)
The dimensions
Where you bought it

Before you comment please read all of this. I asked this because I was recently talking to a friend of mine from Gujrat. He was born and brought up in the UAE and recently (around a month ago) moved back, and he in casual conversation said part of him wishes he was Pakistani. To which I laughed at first (and still kinda do lol) because we don’t exactly have it good either but he went on to say how he looks at his relatives who moved to Karachi during partition, sees the life they built, and compares it to what he experiences, and it makes him wish he was them. A lot of that comes down to the level of persecution he feels where he is (since he’s not in a big city either etc).

And idk that just got me thinking.

We have so much land. Like genuinely, an absurd amount of land that’s either empty or completely underutilized. Baluchistan alone is mainly empty and larger that Germany so if we actually wanted to couldn’t we?

Even if you want the bare minimum would stop us from having an American style manifest destiny policy where the government does absolutely nothing, the only thing that’s done is people are given land that is otherwise barren and unbuilt and they move there and start settlements which eventually breaths life into that land and can sometimes turns into entire new cities and while my imagination is turning wild not even just cities, whole regions can technically be designed from scratch.

For people who care about preserving language or identity and don’t want a repeat of what’s happening in Sindh, we talk about breaking provinces all day anyways what’s stopping that from being factored in? If there’s a barren part of Punjab and a community primarily say from Tamil Nadu wants to settle together, speak their language, build something of their own why not? Why not have a “New Tamil” Provence there we’re not using it anyways so what’s the harm?

I don’t see it as an emotional identity based thing. There are real, practical upsides that. Firstly you’re bringing in people who want to be here. That kind of population isn’t passive they contribute, they build, they invest and in every sense of the term believe in Pakistan more than you do which will help in times like this because they’ll be willing to do whatever it takes to help the country grow. You’re increasing your workforce at a time when brain drain is already a problem. Instead of losing talent, you’re actively gaining it.

This also has a fun little side affect do India where if you look at it from the other side, it’s not neutral either. For every gain on our end, there’s inversely a loss on the other end. If large numbers of people, especially, working-age people, decide to leave, that impacts population balance, economic activity, India loses the minds we gain, India loses every potential dollar they earn that we now gain, and the global image issue will be a PR nightmare of a bunch of people wanting to leave a “secular” nation because they’re being persecuted.

It also revitalizes our identity as a country we used to be united on the core based on a religious identity which kinda has faded away and dwindled, we don’t really have much of a national identity anymore there’s very little that unifies us this just reignites our founding principle and unity again.

I’m not saying it’s simple or even realistic. Obviously it’s not. There are logistical, political, and economic challenges that would make this insanely difficult to actually pull off.

But the core idea still stands if a country has the space, the need for growth, and people actively wanting to be part of it, it’s worth at least thinking about seriously instead of brushing it off like it’s impossible. Right now there’s no pathway for ANY person who wants to come, hell even if the Ambanis would theoretically want to move here tomorrow they wouldn’t be able to. Why are we blocking pathways into Pakistan?
