Recs for single person

Apologies for what im sure is the 9 millionth post of this.

Single guy looking for recipes to meal prep. Ideally in quantities that will make 3 meals. Ive been searching around and have found a number of recipes for single portions. Im truly kinda clueless and dunno if just tripling portions and cooking times works.

If yall can link some recipes that are relatively simple and have portions for roughly 3 meals that would be great. Im not a picky eater. Generally avoid things that are too spicy. Not a fan of curry.

I literally recipes I can follow. Im not a fan of cooking and get hello fresh delivered so I don't have to think about anything. Just 3 meals a week so im looking to supplement. Chicken, rice and veggie variations would suit me just fine.

Thanks.

Renters rights resources - illegal lease.

Anyone have any suggestions for a professional to review a rental lease? The building I live in was bought a few months ago. The new owners have delivered new leases to be signed and I have some questions id like reviewed. While an affordable option would be ideal I dont mind paying a fee for a lawyer or such. I am reaching out to LASP to start.

For some context, the lease states that "our leases are on a month to month basis". It then later states, "the term of this lease is one (1) year. The total rent due for the full term is $value. In the event that the tenant should break this lease without the written permission of the Landlord, the unpaid rent for the remainder will become immediately due and owing to the landlord".

Between this and other verbiage throughout suggesting the landlord can terminate the lease whenever they want im not stoked. It also claims that the tenant, "waives the Notice to Quit otherwise required by law".

Staining face frame and panels different colors?

Curious what yalls methods, tips, and tricks are. Say I want to built a cabinet and stain the face frame and panels different colors. Maybe even use different types of wood. Trying to do this after the face frame is attached seems like a bad idea right? Im imagining that taping off before staining isn't going to work well. Stain will make its way right under that tape.

Do you stain the face frame before assembly? Is there any good way of doing this once a face frame it attached? Or any kind of trim/molding for that matter.

Hey all. This might be a matter of preference but im curious as to what yall have to say. Ive been using waterlox original and am finding an undesirable middle ground between a second and third coat. Typically a second coat leaves me with a consistent matte finish where the wood still has some natural texture. At times a third coat is resulting in areas where it resembles more like a heavier poly. Higher build up and a high gloss sheen. Almost like ive used heavy coats of poly.

Is this as simple as an absorption rate? The areas where im seeing higher build up/gloss have soaked up all it could on the second coat?

I don't typically mind one result over the other, the inconsistenty is not ideal however. Can I just commit to a 4th coat if I want to bring everything to the higher gloss sheen? Finally, is not the "true point" of the tung based waterlox? Or perhaps as its not pure tung oil, i should be going for the 4th coat when needed?

Anybody have a reference for the correct order of operations for completing a batten swap? Ive been digging through some of my books/online but can't track down anything specific.

Edit: i should have been more clear in my post. Im looking for a reference for records. Not attempting my first ever batten swap.
