Hi! As the title says, I’m wondering if there’s anyone here who collects lion things (like the animal rather than specifically lion king things). I love seeing posts from people who collect the same categories of things as me but I’ve not really seen anyone collecting lions and I’ve been looking on various social media for a while. does anyone else wish there was a lion micropet? lions are my favourite animal and i would go absolutely FERAL if there was a lion micropet, i think it would be absolutely adorable in the finch art style. i loved the lion costume you got in the wizard of oz campaign and i’ve got it in a few different colours but i wanted to know if anyone else would love a lion micropet! 🦁

(i’ve seen a doctor for this but i’m wondering if anyone has any input or advice as the my gp doctor seemed just as confused as i am)

i’m 21 now and i’ve had asthma my whole life but for about the last 5 years it’s been pretty well controlled. if i’m sick or something and i have an attack my symbicort inhaler and a mug of coffee generally does the trick. randomly on sunday night (4 days ago) in the evening i was sitting on the sofa and out of nowhere i start having a bad asthma attack. there were no apparent triggers, no warning or lead up symptoms, nothing. i tried my inhaler and a coffee and even though this attack was immediately worse than the attacks i’ve had in the last few years and tried to calm my breathing which didn’t do anything. i eventually had to get out my nebuliser and do multiple rounds of salbutamol and budesonide before i could breathe again. (ambulances in my area take multiple hours to get to you so i didn’t really have any other option than to try to deal with it myself). the next day was a bank holiday and i rested and had some residual chest pain but nothing i was too concerned about until around the same time in the evening and i had another bad attack. i did the same routine again.
i messaged my doctor on tuesday morning and fortunately got an appointment within an hour (which was shocking but i’ll take the win) who gave me prednisone tablets and told me to keep doing the same thing with the nebuliser when i had the attacks but that he had no idea why my asthma had gone from 0 to 100 so fast. since the first attack i’ve had at least one attack every evening since but none during the day and i’ve still not been able to work out any potential triggers.
i’ve got multiple chronic illnesses so i spend most of my day either in bed or on the sofa but when the first asthma attack happened i’d had no warning signs before, no shortness of breath, hayfever or allergies, irregular chest pain, cough, nothing. it just started out of nowhere.
i don’t understand how my asthma barely affected me for the past 5 years and out of nowhere it nearly kills me and with no trigger.
i’m was already on symbicort turbohaler every morning and evening which i’m still doing and i’m now doing the prednisone, midday nebuliser treatments of salbutamol and budesonide and then multiple doses of the symbicort and nebuliser meds in the evenings when i have the asthma attacks.
there’s been no recent changes in my diet, lifestyle, clothing, skincare, routine etc.
any input or advice would be greatly appreciated because i’m worried the doctors will try to just ignore it.
