Cake

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cake person who makes yummy cakes that is highly skilled in decorating?

I reached out to someone via their preferred method (online form) for a birthday cake about over a week and a half ago and they haven’t responded. This is despite them acknowledging a previous message I sent them on instagram asking about their business and letting them know I submitted the form. I had reached out via email too and it took several days before any response.

I don’t need the cake until October, but I’m not inclined to move forward with a business that doesn’t reply somewhat timely.

Thank you!

How to say cuddle?

My Spanish isn’t the best, but my husband and I want our kid to grow up speaking Spanish primarily. I often ask our child if he wants to cuddle on the couch, but I’m looking to say it in Spanish.

From searching online, I found acurrucarse, but I don’t know if that’s the best/most common word.

Something more common in Mexico would be preferred.

Help me decide if is this a good deal?

Looking at a 2026 Sport Touring Hybrid. In WA state, and the final deal (after as much negotiating we could do) was $37,500 OTD which includes the maintenance plan and the part and install of a spoiler.

I saw a thread from a couple months ago and people were getting $32,000-$34,000 OTD so it makes me feel like we may be overpaying. Especially when we’re only a couple of months out from 2027’s hitting the sales floor soon.

Color is Sand Dune which is a premium color, which I know is an added cost.

Would you take this deal?

EDIT TO ADD: they offered $36,000 with no maintenance plan or spoiler which have a value of $2,250.

Hi all,

Bought this Canon secondhand and it came with a broken frame counter (which is nowhere to be found). Luckily, everything still works without it and I just need to mentally keep tabs on the number of pictures taken. However, it’d be nice to get this fixed. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking of loctite putty to put in its place but don’t know if that’s a good idea?
