Is this a normal amount of hair loss?

Is this a normal amount of hair loss? I’ve never noticed this much hair falling out during my showers and I’m worried something’s wrong, my hair is like the most important thing to me and I really really don’t want to be bald or something..

Section #1 was my hair loss after two days of not showering, the first day I had my hair down and the second I had it in a braid all day.

Section #2 was the next day, I had showered the day before and that was the loss my next shower

Section #3 was the third day, again I showered daily

I shower normally every morning, aside from sundays which are my cleaning days at home so I normally keep it in a braid or up in a pony tail. I do sleep in a braid every night, and I use silk pillow cases because I’m trying to keep my hair from breaking and such.
I do shampoo twice every day (I have super greasy hair) but I’ve been doing that for over a year and I’ve never seen this much hair loss. I never sleep with wet hair either, and the only heat I use is my hair dryer in the mornings but on medium warm temp.

I did recently get some highlights and lowlights in my hair professionally but I do that once a year and haven’t seen so much hair loss after, but even so it’s been a month since I dyed my hair.

We are just coming out of winter, and it’s getting dry out again so I’ve been doing more moisturizing stuff for my hair. Maybe the change in weather has something to do with it?

I’m hoping someone can tell me if this seems normal or not, and if it’s not I guess I should go to my doctor? My last check up was over a year ago so maybe I have low something… I’m not sure.

One other thing to note is I’ve notice my nails are getting kind of weak and break pretty easily, I keep them a little long but it’s my natural nails with gel on top to make them a little stronger. I have been doing that for like over two years and only now noticed them getting weaker.

As a side note if anyone knows any good hair growing products let me know lol..

Thanks in advance :,)

Bike suggestions?

Looking for my next purchase and am kinda lost in all of the options, would love some recommendations from people who have been in the same place.

So I am a girl, around 5’3 and not very strong lol
My first bike was an r3 which I had for like two weeks before selling and getting a ninja 500,
I loved that bike and had sooo much fun, although I felt after a few months I was sort of outgrowing it, then it got stolen so I’m in search of a new bike.
The ninja 500 I could have one foot flat and the other just barely on my toes.

My current contenders are

Aprilia rs457 (new)
Aprilia RS660 tuono factory (used)
Ninja 650 (used)
Ninja zx4rr (new)

I’ve only been able to sit on the ninja 650 and zx4rr as we don’t have an Aprilia dealership where I live.

My budget is only really 10k in Canada so not a lot lol, the zx4rr is slightly out of my budget so probably off the table but between the 650 it was the better weight and height for me I felt.

I’ve been on the back of a R7 and found it extremely torquey so I worry the rs660 will be too torquey as well, and maybe too tall for me.

The 457 is my best contender so far, I can buy new within my budget and it seems to be a very tiny upgrade from the ninja 500. I worry I might outgrow it too quickly and wish I bought something faster but that being said I also think I could appreciate a smaller bike much more based off my size and where I live. The only issue with Aprilia is if I needed any warranty work or major repairs I would need to travel 4 hours to the closest dealer.

We have a shop here that can do basic services and maintenances though.

Aprilia has been my dream bike since the beginning but I’ve heard the 457s are made in India which apparently doesn’t have the best quality? Just something I remember seeing vaguely..

Originally I wanted the zx4rr because I liked the idea of flashing the ECU for more power after some time, but from what I’ve read the 457 is not as easy to do the same too..?

Interested in any opinions on the bikes I’ve mentioned or on bikes I haven’t :)

Thank you!

Suggest a bike !

RS660 factory thoughts?

I’m hoping someone might be able to give me some insight on the RS660 factory, I have a few concerns and questions I guess…

A little about me I’m female, around 5’4 and not the strongest person ever. I started on a ninja 500 and unfortunately it got stolen so I’m looking for another bike that’s a little bit of an upgrade.

My concerns:
Am I too short to ride this? The ninja 500 I was able to have one foot flat and one foot on my toes, my worry is I sat on a ninja 650 and (it is a lot heavier than the rs660) but I kind of struggled getting it up because it was heavy and a little tall, the Aprilia is one inch taller.

Is this a good upgrade for me? Originally I was hoping to get the Kawasaki zx4rr but it’s a little too pricey for me, and I found the aprilia on Facebook used with like 1000km and ugh I just love it.

Where I live we do not have a shop that can technically work on Aprilias, the closest shop is 4 hours away. My worry is if there is any warranty type issues it’ll be a pain to deal with. We do technically have a shop that can do basic maintenance and repairs here though.

If anyone has or has ridden this bike I would love to hear your thoughts on it, where I live not one person has an aprilia and since I got into bikes Aprilia has always been my dream bike, didn’t matter which one as long as it was Aprilia.
So I’m unable to look at it in person or have a little ride on one, or test the seat height lol.

I trust myself on a bike like this and I know it would be great but a lot of people in my life keep telling me it’s too much, too torquey, or too tall and I’d much prefer to hear that from someone who’s actually experienced it and not some random biker who rides a 600cc.

Edit: just realized it’s the aprilia tuono 660 factory, looks like this is a half naked bike, not sure if this really changes anything… the only thing I really notice is the handlebars being super upright rather than down…

Anyway thanks in advance :)

Looking to buy a bike around June this year, previously I rode the Ninja 500 before it got stolen and I really enjoyed that but felt I was quickly outgrowing it.

My price range is 10K (in Canada so not a lot of options lol) but I’m interested to hear what people would recommend me..

I’m pretty short around 5’3 and I did find the 500 a little tall but totally manageable. Where I live I cannot do test rides unfortunately or I would go test out and see for myself, I’ve sat on the Ninja 650 and Zx4r

The 650 felt really heavy and pretty tall
The zx4r was a good height and weight but I’m not sure if that bike is worth it.

Where I live the only options are Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha, so preferably within those three but if there’s any other suggestions let me know :)

My dream would be the Aprilia RS 660 but that price is insane and unfortunately cannot be serviced where I live, I’ve looked into the Honda 650 but haven’t gotten a chance to see one in person or sit on it..

My riding style is mostly in town and around town, but I did occasionally go on long road trips with the 500.. I’m pretty stuck to the sport bikes, and not super interested in the naked ones.

What does everyone out there have for middle weight bikes? Any suggestions?

Most likely I’d end up buying new because the used market where I live is actually horrible (used bikes sell for more than buying new?!)

Anyway let me know if you’ve experienced any bikes and what your thoughts are, I would love a second opinion for what I should get :)

Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to decide which bike would be best fit for me and I’m having a hard time deciding between the following

Zx4r or rr
Ninja 500
Ninja 650

I previously owned the ninja 500 and loved it, I had it over the summer two years ago and it was great for city rides and long distance. My issue was I kind of felt I was outgrowing it very quickly. It eventually got stolen and I’ve been searching for a bike for the last two years and feel it’s time.

I like the ninja 650 the best, I think it would be a good “upgrade” and I’m not certain if the Zx4R would be the best as it’s a 4 cylinder. But videos and clips I’ve seen of it I feel make it seem faster and more aggressive than it actually is?

The main factor here though is that insurance on a 650 would be much higher than the zx4r (which makes no sense but whatever)

I don’t want to have to drop 1k every year just to insure my bike (Canadian prices are crazy) the 500 costed me 600 a year to insure, the zx4r would be slightly less, and the 650 would be around 1k.
Especially since where I live we only get about 4-5 months of actual riding time before it’s winter again.

I am a woman and I found the 500 was a little tall for me but doable.. what’s everyone’s experiences with these bikes? Or what do you think would make the most sense for me? Thanks in advance :)
