Both the Braves (5 games back) and the Padres (1.5 games ahead) lost and the Diamondbacks are currently losing in the 4th inning. If the Phillies win tonight will we all feel better about this team. We still haven’t gone on a substantial winning streak (IMO 8+ games) yet this season, this could be it.
With our loss today and Arizona winning against Pittsburgh, we have officially slipped to the 3rd wildcard slot. We seriously could be below the wildcard line before the weekend series with the Orioles is complete. These guys need to get their acts together before we are looking up at too many teams.
I (46M) play the game with my 10 year old son most days or alone on squads and we end up with young annoying kids or mouthy, cursing adults.
I really enjoyed that segment with George Brett so much! He was funny and knowledgeable. He made me laugh when he was breaking Schmidt’s balls, and he amazed with his scouting story of Ben Davis, which was the nicest I had ever heard anyone speak about Ben.
The commentators were saying the Flyers had too many guys on the ice and showed this visual to prove it, only to realize it wasn’t showing the Flyers with too many guys on the ice.
I have a 1500 square foot single story home with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. I can’t seem to find a cleaning service that meets my expectations. I had a decent group for over a year, but they started taking stuff and damaging things. I finally changed cleaners when the group left my front door wide open.
I’ve now tried two other groups, found by recommendations here and via Google searches, but they were so so.
I’m looking for a group that isn’t a large corporate entity, I like to know who my cleaners are by name. I like having a group that will accept payment via Venmo. I don’t have a cash paying job and I don’t always have time to stop at the ATM.
