It seems like there’s a new USCG Aux tape where the font does not match the name tape font.
See pictured: old (above) matches what the name tape font is, new (below) is a skinnier font that looks like a Temu tape compared to the older one.
PSA if you’re ordering new stuff be prepared the fonts won’t match
Oddly enough the hotel isn’t even half-capacity so there would be plenty of options. I don’t care as I’m not the one paying for this stay. I used to get upgrades all the time to 1BR suite, sometimes even a corner suite.
Edit: to the people saying “it’s a courtyard all the rooms are the same”… oh sweet child you have a lot to learn. Waikiki (this one) has 2 types of suites and a penthouse suite. San Diego Gaslamp has some really impressive stuff on the top 2 floors. This isn’t Wichita.
Seemingly overnight it’s turned to chocolate milk and is full of debris. I don’t remember seeing all that junk in it yesterday.
United gave me a $15 meal voucher at SFO (that I had to ask for) and of course you can’t even get a basic meal at any vendor for that. Also, not letting merchants use it for alcohol purchases is insulting. It’s $15, that doesn’t even cover a beer.
So I know it’s nesting season but the Mynahs that are trying to annex my carport have become more hostile than ever before. They are now swooping me and trying to attack. I don’t want to kill or hurt them but if anyone has something they’ve done in the past to scare them off for good I’m all ears.
