Huge error at high heart rate. Low pulse rate under the load

Huge error at high heart rate. Low pulse rate under the load

Hello all!

I bought wahoo tickr fit, I noticed that it was giving incorrect readings during exercise. When I was out of breath while cycling uphill, it showed my heart rate at 90-100 BPM. In reality, the pulse is 160-180. I decided to test it with a regular chest heart rate monitor (not Wahoo) and apple watch. Under the load the error is about 30-40 BPM, and sometimes even 60 BPM. And the greater the load, the greater this difference in readings. But in a calm state the indicators are identical on all three devices...

Could you tell me if this is a defect or normal? And should I contact Wahoo support?

CN M-6100 direction

Hello all, sorry for stupid questions, but I have it.

The instructions for the chain say that the chain has a direction and that the chain must be mounted with the inscriptions facing outward. This leads me to two questions:

  1. Does it matter how I place the chain (upside down or down)? For example, with the inscriptions facing out, I have two options too.

  2. The quick-links also indicate that the arrow should point in the direction of chain movement. Incorrect installation can pose a risk of injury. But both parts of link have the same arrow direction. This means that the one outside will point the chain's direction, but not the one in the back.

Is it normal?

How to train cats to live together

Hello all! Five years ago we adopted a 2-year-old cat from a shelter. This is our greatest love, he is very sociable and dependent on people, and has a unique character. Firstly, he is very stubborn and will go to the end if he doesn’t like something. Secondly, it is absolutely neutral to any food. He eats food throughout the day as much as he needs (sometimes even half of the daily norm remains in the bowl from the morning to the next day). I wouldn't say that he is unteachable; he understands many things very well and tries not to do them.

But a month ago, we rescued another cat (~2 y.o.). We brought him home. He was going through a difficult period with treatment, and my wife and I tried to do everything possible to make the transition smooth and comfortable for both cats adapt them to each other's existence. At first the first cat was very jealous, screamed and fought so much that it was impossible to calm him down. At first we separated them into rooms and fed them through a blind barrier. Then, the barrier was a net, and only later the barrier itself became more of a convention.

And now the stage has come when we have to share a common space for both cats. And at this stage we have many problems that are difficult to fix:

  1. The main problem is the first cat literally never takes his eyes off the second one. He constantly tries to attack, bite, and corner him. The fights aren't as ruthless as they were at the beginning, but they still happen quite often. He corners the younger boy and glares at him. Then comes a fight, an escape, and the cycle begins again...

  2. The second cat eats everything in sight. We're trying to address this through training and rewarding him with treats (once he understands that he shouldn't go into someone else's bowl).

  3. The first cat is VERY picky about the litter box. He needs his own clean litter box with clean litter, otherwise he might go to the bathroom in the shower, for example. We now have two litter boxes for the first cat and one for the second, but we still can't figure out how to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Are there any ways to train cats, if not to be friends, then at least to coexist peacefully in the same space? And what to do about the constant stalking from the first one?

Hi everyone! This is a new bike and I've ridden it for about 200 km. I tried not to brake abruptly, but tell me, is it normal that the contact patch does not cover the entire active surface of the rotor? And is it normal that the contact patch is more of an oval than a perfect circle?

On the rear rotor is similar situation.

Two years ago I tried road cycling. God, it's so different from all the bikes I've ridden before. My first road bike was a Triban rc120. It brought me a lot of positive emotions, and I still remember it with warmth.

And now the time has come for a refresh, and... It's an incomparable feeling of lightness, speed, and silence. Plus, I've never had hydraulic brakes before, it's pure joy.

P.S.The color is just awesome!!
