Sharing our experience in case it helps others gauge the current unpredictability.

Applied for a tourist visa for 4 pax on 23rd July. All 4 are core family members. Out of the 4: 3 are involved in different businesses, and the 4th is an employee at one of those businesses.

Timeline:

8th August: 1 person rejected (online application)

14th August: 2 more rejected, only 1 accepted — and that 1 was the employee, not any of the business owners (in fact, the owner of the company the employee works for was the very first one rejected)

The primary candidate listed on the file was also among those rejected

Other details that didn't seem to matter either way:

2 out of 4 had traveled to China last year — didn't help, if anything maybe hurt

All 4 had strong travel history (multiple Schengen, US, Japan, and more)

All 4 had solid balance sheets/financials

Genuinely no idea what criteria they're using - seems fairly random at this point. We've decided to change designations rather than use the re-apply feature for our next attempt.

TL;DR: Filed 2 genuine claims on my <1 year old Innova Hycross under Tata AIG (~₹1L - 1.5L combined). They declined renewal citing vague "product terms and conditions," refused to specify which ones even when asked directly. We own 3 other cars with other insurers and never faced this. Lucky mine is new , if your car is older, this could hit you harder (0-dep gets tough to find with new insurer).

Bought a Tata AIG comprehensive policy for my brand new Innova Hycross in August 2025. Within the first year, the car got hit twice (both times the other party's fault) and I filed 2 claims, .Rare for us, but it's literally what insurance is for in such scenarios.

At renewal, Tata AIG declined with this boilerplate line:

>"We wish to inform you that the policy renewal has been declined on account of product terms and conditions around vehicle history and the portfolio concerns."

No specific reason, no clause reference. I wrote back saying I wasn't disputing the decision, just wanted to know which "terms and conditions" applied since I couldn't find anything relevant in my policy document. Reply: underwriting "reviewed it," decision "remains unchanged." No real explanation given.

We own 3 more cars (including a sedan and a luxury car) with other insurers but never had this issue with any of them, claim or no claim.

Heads up if you have an older car with Tata AIG: I got lucky mine is under 1 year old, so finding a new comprehensive/0-dep policy elsewhere was easy. If your car is a few years old and Tata AIG doesn't renew you, you may struggle to find 0-dep cover elsewhere as many insurers restrict it to newer vehicles.

Now switching insurers all because I used the policy the way it's supposed to be used. Posting as a heads-up for anyone considering Tata AIG. Happy to answer questions.

Something maintenance teams run into constantly: bearings failing prematurely even though someone's greasing them every shift, every week, whatever the schedule says.

The root cause is usually not that lubrication is skipped , it's that manual greasing is inconsistent by nature:

• Dose varies by operator. Two techs greasing the same bearing will apply different amounts. Over time, over-greasing (blown seals, heat buildup) and under-greasing (dry running) both happen on the same machine.
• Timing is tied to shifts, not bearing load. A bearing running hot at 3am gets its last grease at 6pm the day before if no one's greasing overnight.
• Hard-to-reach points get skipped. If greasing a point means stopping the machine or climbing into a guard, it gets deprioritized quietly, until it fails.

Centralized lubrication systems (single-line progressive, dual-line, or motorized units with a timer) solve this by metering a fixed, small dose to every point automatically, often while the machine's running. Not necessary for every machine — a small unit with 2-3 points is fine with a grease gun - but past ~10-15 points or multi-shift operation, the labor savings + reduced bearing failures usually pay for it within a year or two.

Is it only me or for everyone the support time to revert is immensely high as compared to other providers of same industry ?

Any billing ticket or any other normal tickets are unanswered for 4-5 days easy.

I haven't got a chance to get on a ticket wherein there is a technical issue and an early response is required but I fear if that would also be needed, would they be taking same amount of time ?

I specifically, decreased my business with them due to slow support as it delays the process and becomes an overhead to chase them or wait until they reply.

I have a OVH server with some months on contract left.

Hello Guys,

Anyone from sec 14, 15 , who can confirm the following issue :

From few days, daily in morning around 5-7 AM, our A.C stop working due to voltage issue and stabiliser cuts off the supply to AC basically.

After few hours, they resume as voltage rectifies.

Why it isn't A.C problem = 3 A.C , acting in same manner.

Anyone in same boat or is it only me ?

Further, have contacted the line man to visit tomorrow so I can get it rectified or discuss the same with him.
