What are the best argument for physicalism?
especially identity theory or some reductionism, deflationist, or eliminativist view of it?

so, deductive reasoning has, say, formal logics, inductive reasoning has formal probability theories, such as bayesian inference, but what does abduction have, namely anything formal, or as systematic as the two?

doesn’t anyone find it very queer, bizarre, odd, whatever, that omnipotence can exist or simply confused at how or why a being would even possess it, or infinite properties in any sense? or how something can exist “necessarily”? seems nonsense to suggest some being who cannot failt to exist just for the service of existence lol. allthough these are intuitions and not arguments which is sad.
is there any analytic literature upon critiquing, or refuting, whatever word you choose, the metaphysics of aristotle, and thomists? especially stuff like act and potency distinction. but i am fine with anything.

There are certain responses or solutions or objections to the problem of evil, such that God allows such evil to happen, all this unnecessary evil to occur, but in reality it's actually necessary or whatever, because God will give them paradise. So even if they're neglected in this world, they're gonna get paradise in the hereafter, you know, infinite paradise, infinite rewards. And the people who have done bad, they will get infinite punishment. Is this a solution to the problem of evil? Because I have no idea how to respond to it.
In addition to that, can God to unnecessary stuff?
what are your critiques or objections to the act and potency distinction / metaphysics?
i heard something about “realism about potency / actuality”, so is there some x realism about it, like potency realism?
what does potency or actuality even mean? are there alternatives to this? is the entire thing of A&P ontologically inflating? what about the act and potency arguments for god?
also, doesn’t the act and potency stuff apply to gods actions and thoughts?
the quran states “Glory be to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not.”
there are more verses among the kind of the given verse, but i want to ask:

are there any good introductory books upon philosophy of causality and time? and i wouldn’t mind post introductory books on the two topics. i wouldn’t mind many books upon it. the FAQ text didn’t include time or causality.
i am not sure what future career i should choose, but suppose i want to pursue physics and theoretical physics, is there any questions i need to answer to myself or things i need to consider and know before i pursue this? should i become it? anyone able to help me and guide me to know myself better, namely what i should pursue? what i mean is, find a job which i genuinely like and not feel burdened to go to.
What I mean by my question is that false prophets notably have certain goals or desires, that is, power, control, wealth, women, fame. And Muslims tell me otherwise, such as that he slept on a straw bed, that he died poor, that he gave charity, that the Quran doesn't advocate for violence except in self-defense, which at that point isn't violence, and that those 11 marriages were out of political reasons to unite the Arabs or something along the lines of that. So, but non-Muslims tell me otherwise, such as that he married those women for other reasons, that he was greedy, that he wanted power. Some kind of split between what the true reality of Muhammad was. I'm not sure the hadith are even authentic in the first place to establish the real, accurate historical life of Muhammad, but what sources do you people have to establish that, and what could Muslims say to that, because Muslims can interpret it otherwise, likewise with non-Muslims. So did Muhammad show obvious signs of false prophethood, greed, power, fame, control, or why else would he sleep on a straw mat, or why would he die poor or be poor, or why would his diet be very limited in food that is only eating dates and water or whatever, or why would he pray all night long, as some sources say it? I need actual sources for all assertions.
edit: i obviously need sources and evidences lol
do any of you have any piece of information to give as to how islam, and any aspect within it, could have occurred naturally, namely what explains the occurrence of such, whether it may be a prophecy, literary style, life of the prophet, or knowledge? for example, where could he have gotten his knowledge from? why did he say this? or how? and so on so forth. what do academics say of it?
question may be a bit unrelated to philosophy, not sure.
what’s a miracle, as in, how does philosophy define a miracle to be, and does one distinguish a miracle from a mere improbable event? likewise, since religion claims to be originated from a divine source, and since it makes certain claims, how does one distinguish between the truth or falsity of the religion? for example, believers may point out that this religion possesses certain prophecies, or preservation, or coherence, or life-long commitment of the founder of the religion, namely the prophet, or the popularity of the religion in question, yet i wonder, what are the necessary criteria and conditions for a religion to check for one to really consider it divine, rather than a naturalistic anomaly, or unexplained (for the time being, like the universe being unexplained at T1, then explained at T2), or improbability? to this, what tole do the following variables play in a religions truth status: prophecies (vague, many, or whatever l), preservation, success, spreading, prophets life (or rather commitment to the goal of this religion)? and as a last thing, wouldn’t it be nonsensical for god to make his religion sound divine for the common people, but be philosophically wrong for the philosophers, or those knowledgeable upon such? why wouldn’t this all knowing god present prophecies on quantum physics, or unnatural phenomena?
this might be a bit lengthy, but hopefully i can write it down in a concise fashion.
any sources that demonstrate that islam’s religion and core doctrines and ideas precede from other religions, ideas, cults, legends, myths, and so on? for example, or as an example, the story of the flood of noah is taken from the epic of gilgamesh, or that the bridge of siraat is taken from zoroastrianism, alltoguh i don’t know the exact source. so could you help me acquire such knowledge?
