Living alone, pretending I am brave and trying to coax my cat to investigate. In all fairness she stared at the wall with me for a couple minutes. So at least I know she hears it too.
I know factually that 1) I am the larger organism, and 2) I have the distinct advantage of not living in a wall. But Ack! What if they come in from the wall?! What if they crawl on my face in my sleep?!
OH MY GOSH. I just heard it THUD. Oh ick. Oh no. It's crawling again. Oh no.
Oh wow. It is directly aligned in the wall with my headboard.
OH MY GOSH.
I want to wish it a safe journey AWAY from me.
I am telling myself it is a friendly lost little squirrel.
Oh. Oh i hate this.
If i could see it, I could form a plan to address it.
But just hearing it is basically a live in horror movie. I HATE THIS.
Oh ick, it just made a noise? Like something going back and forth really fast? Like not just their little scurry feet but maybe a tail? Oh no. Yeah I hate this. I think there are more than one.
oh. Okay so I am probably not sleeping tonight OH MY GOSH THAT TAIL SHAKING THING IS TERRIFYING.
oh. oh i am not okay.

Hey all! I know it is incredibly difficult to see our pets experiencing this condition.
But I wanted to celebrate! Lab results for my sweet girl came back from monday and looked suss enough to invite her back in today to double check (much to her bewildered offense to see the carrier whisked back into view so soon!!), we are officially on the correct side of the low average for red count!
Her esteemed grumpiness has been assuaged with pets and wet food. I am back at work. But I wanted to share the happy news, and invite any other wins to be shared too!
Hello! I am wondering if there are recordings available of the musical orchestration, live or otherwise
After watching a musical performance that blew you away, what do you find yourself doing after?
Do you immediately reach for an available cast album? Different genre of music?
I loved seeing a performance today and had prepared a playlist for the three and a half hour ride back and found myself wanting to savor the musical as performed so I opted for an orchestral score.
Just wondering if I was the only one who thought this much about it, haha.
I was told last week my cat has kidney disease and have been giving her prescription food since last Friday which she seemed interested in when I fed her by hand but it turns out she's only eating about an ounce a day. She has lost a pound and a half since last fall and was only 8.25 pounds to begin with. She's a rescue but we think she's around 16. Has never been particularly food motivated so she has been free feeding for years. I just started to weigh and track the bowl since her diagnosis last week to track how much she's eating.
I'm picking up wet food and an appetizer prescription medication from the vet this evening but I also want to gauge based on others what signs to look for to help decide whether she wants to fight this or be let go.
She still does belly flop curls and happy tails, coming towards me for cuddles and vocalizes/chirps. She loves to nap with me and cuddle, head butt, and careful paw daps on my arm or leg for attention. She's so sweet! But I know cats can hide pain and I am so worried about prolonging pain or not addressing pain to help her.
Jenna Bainbridge and Danny Quadrino are performing a set together with a Livestream ticket option for attending tomorrow evening. I am obssessulated with their work bestie relationship and theatre joy so just wanted to spread the fun!
Just wanted to express how excited I am that an event I was cheering for has actually been made available for livestreaming (with very reasonable ticket prices). Jenna Bainbridge and Danny Quadrino (our current Nessa and Boq) are putting on a fun concert tomorrow. I hope this becomes a more common option!
Does anyone know of any other Broadway adjacent events with virtual attendance options?
Hello!! I am a long time/long distance participant in this subreddit and so excited to be in NYC for a day later this month!! I feel very lucky.
The forecast is a bit too early but rain has popped up as a possibility for the timeframe. Obviously the last thing I want to stand in my way of enjoying my dream show is soggy toes or sweaty uncomfortable rainboots. I don't think sandals feel right (but happy to be corrected) because of what I imagine is a multitude of fluids and creatures in addition to humans that share the ground.
I'll be flying so space and weight in suitcase are also factors. Style preference is secondary to function for me, but bonus points if it goes well with a cute skirt!
TLDR I want to wear shoes that I don't have to think about and can handle a day's walk and possibly any rainy weather later this month.
Thank you for any recommendations or insights!
I very much enjoy it so far and was looking forward to today to a new unlocked episode. But the fact that it ended in another social group setting panic makes me sad!
I really like the engaging horse conversation though.
