Today’s Breakfast

Steel cut oats plus honey roasted peanut butter. I ended up adding more peanut butter after I took the pics. It tasted like peanut butter pie.

100/10 would recommend 😋🥜

Polise Twin Boys - Goshen, Cape May County, NJ

As the mother of twin boys who are now healthy adults, this stone hit me hard. 💔 Rest peacefully, sweet boys. I am sure you ran with open arms to your Mommy and Daddy when they each arrived in heaven.

Samantha the beagle and Sebastian her brother

They’ve both since passed and we miss them terribly. While Sammie was naughty in so many ways, she was deeply lovable and never tried to hurt either one of our bunnies. I love this pic of the two of them.

Fly high, Samantha and Sebastian.

My dad’s sunscreen that expired in 2003

Found this gem under my parents’ sink at their beach house. I’m pretty sure it’s doing nothing to prevent sunburn or skin cancer.

PB Tandykakes for My BIL’s Memorial

I asked my three nieces what they’d like for me to bring to their dad’s memorial service tomorrow. They all said, “We love when you bake sweet treats.” So, my sweet girls will get some homemade goodies, including these, which taste like the Tastykake Tandykake.

Rest in peace, Ray. You are missed.

KIA in Germany

William ran track all four years of high school and was an Eagle Scout. He’d only been overseas for two months before he was killed right before Christmas 1944. His father lived until 1973. His mom lived until 1984. I cannot imagine their heartbreak.

Rest peacefully, sir.
