Charger1 packing list not matching what's inside the box
I bought a charger1 in november 2025 as part of an ac200L + charger1 combo on amazon. Now I see in the manual, the fastening hardware is quite different (including mystery bracket), and there's no MC4 output cable. It did include the huge DC input cable kit with circuit breaker. I also see there's manual 1.0 https://s4.bluettipower.com/bluetti_lgf/support/2025/05/4a4f1b84-aa5a-4563-8e3f-28f5c3053576.pdf vs manual 2.0 (what I have) https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/96/961ce4fc-49d3-442e-8cf8-37ba867400d8.pdf
Are these kinds of discrepancies normal with bluetti? Without the MC4 cable I can't connect it to my AC200L I think. Given that I had the box laying on my floor for 5 months maybe one of my cats picked it up and hid it somewhere but I doubt it. Missing cables normal with bluetti?
Becoming that guy with only female references...
I got 2 refs from women, now a third, and in the past month have had 2 more hosting requests from women. So it looks like my profile will look like I only host women soon. Before 2025 I had mostly hosted men (there was 1 girl) and most of them didn't leave a reference (including the guy I took rock climbing). Before you ask, all of this hosting has been completely platonic.
Are any US cities doing anything to encourage nightlife, people going out
Seriously the surgeon general said loneliness is a public health crisis but that's not specific enough. It is nightlife that needs to recover, that was decimated during pandemic. I heard mamdani has been doing stuff like keeping lights on thru the night at public parks and ppl are going out to play soccer. All cities should do stuff like that. I'm just horrified that my teenage existence of being on the internet until 3 am every single day has become the default state for most of the country. This is so bad, worse than fentanyl, worse than obesity and across all ages, but getting worse with younger gens (due to brainrot, fear of being perceived/cringe). Get restaurants to stay open late one Wednesday per month with tax breaks or something, close a couple streets to cars and have a night market once in a while, have free movie nights in a park. Cities have to do something.
how is this simple setup for pickup truck camper?
The AC200L is too big to fit in the camper with all of my other stuff so it's in the cab rear seat. The Elite 200v2 seemed like a really simple way to have a battery in the bed and it's much smaller, plus I think I'll need the Whr capacity for 2 people to remote work for up to 3 days on engineering laptops (2x Dell Precision 3571 laptops 64whr batteries), starlink. The biggest downside is in the ac/dc power loss in using the 2 stations to charge each other as needed, but it seemed nice to have a fully independent power station in the bed as well with full outlets. Solar will be 1 200W panel.
Does it overall look reasonable even if not super efficient?
Best quality PCT bumper sticker?
Looking for one with the triangle emblem. I got a random one off Etsy but the graphic and text on it wasn't that crisp, and it like melted off my car.
why is it so hard to find a PCP in seattle?
I'm on BCBS IL insurance and called 4 doctors in the search tool that said they were taking new patients. Only 1 actually was, and that one said I had to join a "health club" that costs $300/year. I used to want a doctor who was male and also an athlete, but now I'll settle for anyone in north seattle who can just order bloodwork and stuff and write me referrals. Why is this difficult?
How bad was it to live thru the Korean War? My parents were born in Seoul in 1949
Not in touch with them any more. They came to the US in the 70s, dad got in as a doctor. They were kind of horrible parents so I'm trying to understand where they were coming from.
Roadloft pickup kit troubles
https://roadloft.com/en-us/collections/pickup
Just a heads up that if you get this kit delivered to you, be prepared for a bumpy ride in assembly and install. I'd strongly recommend having it assembled at their facility instead so that they can deal with it. They said it would be 3 boxes shipped to me, and it was 7. Numerous emails back and forth asking for missing documentation, or dealing with missing or incorrectly made parts. It also takes them 24-48 hours to respond to every email, and be prepared to correct their own work since they often get mixed up.
Looking at the 4th additional shipment (Montreal to PNW, 2+ weeks) over 3 months to finally be able to complete the assembly.
"A lot of Glue usage is organizational momentum and perceived safety rather than technical necessity. Teams reach for it because it's 'enterprise,' managed, and familiar to data engineers — not because the data volume demands it." - is this true?
My coworker is pressuring me to put my data into it (50k rows excel sheet) and migrate my whole pipeline to AWS glue. It seems 100x more complex than just my simple python script that reads an excel file. My script takes 10 sec to execute, I don't see why I need cloud based resources... We work with physical products, our data is not anticipated to need scaling (very old school industry) and even then I've worked with up to 40m rows on my machine with parquet files. Should I still go to AWS glue?
Seattle to Vancouver, is Blaine always the fastest crossing if I have Nexus?
I've been told by a local (WA) that Blaine - Truck Crossing is pretty much the fastest since they have 2 nexus lanes, and that Google Maps doesn't always take this in to account when routing. Should I just always go through Blaine - Truck Crossing if I have Nexus?
(Referring to those who got legit SAINT with fMRI, not just theta burst.) Looks like I'm on track to get SAINT in a few weeks at Acacia. I'm really hoping it works, but I've been depressed for 25 years with some profound social isolation, never really connecting with people beyond acquaintances, and family estrangement. I've read about studies where long term depression causes major hippocampal atrophy... Like the brain tissue isn't there from a decade+ of depression. So I'm pretty doubtful that this could work for me, unless it could magically rebuild my hippocampus in 5 days. Anyone with a similar background (very long term depression) actually experience remission? Did you experience it during treatment, or a bit later?
Did they ever apologize for anything? Mine are still alive somehow despite being fat and hateful for decades, now in their 70s. I have no idea what I will feel. Probably relief though.
