Hi! like stated in the title, I recently started a substack where I am posting articles written by me, and not AI (i dont think one can be fooled on the part, its easy to catch, right?)

I can share the link with you, as it is the only portfolio i have, given that i've been out of work owing to academic break. I am writing psychology based articles, but i have work experience in ad agencies and crowdfunding work, so i am a quick learner that way. thanks in advance!

I am from India. I left my job last year in May cause health issues and was completing my distance masters course. I don’t want to go back to a typical writing job, but then I’m not even getting a writing job in the first place. I started posting self written articles on substack 2 days ago, and seem to be getting good traction (20 subs is good in 48 hours ig).

I’m volunteering, but have no income source. I’ve tried spreading WOM for freelancing, but nothing’s happened till now.

I want to work. I miss working, and I ofc can’t stay on my savings for long. I’m open to marketing roles that you think someone w digital copywriting experience could do, or anything beyond. I don’t mind starting anything new from scratch. I’m volunteering in psychology, also my substack is based on psychology (since I got ma in clinical psych). Open to your suggestions. just curious, i have seen people get work on reddit, even X, medium too but i've not come across anyone yet who got a job or work or freelance gigs through their substack writing. if you or any one you know did, then please do share!

I started working at the age of 20 as a copywriter because i didn't know what to do with my life post graduation. i graduated in economics even when i wanted to do psych cause parents were insistent. over the years lived in the survival mode, until last year i developed chronic health issues and left my job (plus also completed my distance masters in clinical psych).

i am now burntout mentally and emotionally, because i feel as if idk what i want to do or pursue. all these years i've only tried getting through life, and have forgotten what my dream, hopes, interests and hobbies were. i havent earned in a year, but how long will savings keep me going? i dont want to go back to writing, it has drained me completely. more like i fear going back. job market is bad as well, i get rejected by good organisations. i've no friends, parents are furious. i live with them but ofc i want to move out someday.

if you were me, what would you do? thanks in advance 🌸

have seen them recruiting for remote opportunities and posting across almost all job portals. they even send assignments but don't interview, ghost too. any one had any experience with them?
