how do tickets work for carnival in rio?

im planning on visiting rio for carnival next year, and we’d like to attend one of the parade days, but unsure how ticketing for these works. do we just buy them from ticketmaster? or are there agencies that would be recommended instead over ticketmaster?

also which events do you recommend if you’ve been before! we want to spend majority of carnival at the blocos, but still want to experience at least 1 parade event since we’re there

also if you guys have any other carnival tips or things to keep in mind i would appreciate! thanks!!

question about day tours in cappadocia

we are planning to do the red tour while we are in cappadocia and are booking a tour through get your guide. one of the ones i found combines the red tour and and underground city tour in one day. will this be a lot to do in one day? we aren’t big hikers/outdoors people, and i’m traveling with my older parents, so also don’t want to overtire them. i was initially thinking of doing the red tour on one day and then the underground city the following day, but if anyone’s done both on the same day pls lmk if you would recommend doing it that way or if it might be better to split them up! not sure how long each thing takes

also, would we be doing too much if we did this tour the same day as the sunrise hot air balloon ride? not sure how tired everyone’s going to be after the early morning, and if it might be better to do something more chill on this day, or if we can just thug it out lol

tia!!

looking for ideas for our fusion hindu and christian wedding!

i’m the bride and i’m indian, my family is hindu and want us to have a hindu wedding. i don’t care much for the religious parts of it, but i would like to incorporate some cultural traditions. my fiance is white and christian, and it’s important to him and his family to have a christian wedding.

our initial idea was to have two ceremonies, both on the same day because we want to have just one wedding date, but this is seeming like it’s going to end up being way too chaotic of a day to do both. i’m happy to not do the hindu ceremony at all, and instead make our one ceremony (the christian one) a fully fusion of both our cultures so my parents still feel like i’m honoring our culture. i know they will be really upset if i just say i don’t want a hindu wedding, so i need a better plan to offer as an alternative. they are paying for this wedding so just doing what i want without considering them is not an option.

pls give me ideas on how you guys incorporated two cultures into one ceremony!

and also any tips to make my parents feel okay with the idea of scrapping the hindu ceremony lol

EDIT: the christian ceremony is NOT happening in a church, it will be at a venue with a priest officiating it
