We just finished our family roadtrip from Amsterdam to Lisbon and I thought it could be helpful for some to hear about the experience (often times this subreddit focuses too much on the issues).

We were driving with two adults and two kids under 5, we left Friday evening, and arrived Monday at the end of the day. It was an absolute joy.

We never had to stop because we had to charge, we would just naturally take breaks for a snack, meals in the city, overnight stops at the hotel, and we just charged then. I don’t think the battery ever went below 30%.

I used Pilot Assist for most of it, no software glitches, no nothing.
