Recently brought a new puppy(half German Shepard/half golden retriever) into the house, she is great but an absolute menace right now, can be very barky and jumpy, doing well with crate training and other basic puppy stuff

My car has refused to come anywhere near the room or floor we are on, the time or two she has come down my puppy will just bark at her and she will run off, they had 1 or 2 interactions from a distance when the puppy was Timid and smaller and calmer when she first got home, but not she freaks out if we bring the cat down even when she is in her crate

We were hoping to get them more socialized while the puppy was young and small, because soon she will be much bigger and have even more every. Day j a natural and safe way, i was hoping to have our cat , harmless way, “alpha” our puppy or just Teach her not to mess with him too much so they can eventually be friends

The cat has multiple higher perches to escape to, as well as a child gate with a cat door to come and go and she pleases from the dogs space

Any tips?? My cat has really suffered and we only get to see her at night now, my cat had come around to older dogs in the past after a few months, but these dogs were smaller and calmer, i was hoping to get them to at least co exist while the puppy is young

I have been pretty loyal to Jersey mikes, knew i wanted a sandwich tonight, was on the way home and Jimmy Johns happened to be a right on my way

30$! (With chips and a cookie) For a sandwich with turkey, bacon lettuce and tomato?? I also paid for extra meat and it honestly was less than the regular amount from mikes…

Employees did not give two fucks about anything or anyone,maybe i caught them on a bad night or it was 40 min before closing in a Saturday, but my order was not that hard and i was the only person in there

i ended up adding more mayo, mustard and banana peppers at home because it was just not doing it for me

Just made me appreciate Jersey mikes that much more, for the service and quality and quantity of the food, i will never make that mistake again

Edit: my gripe is more so the extra meat charge not feeling justified for what i actually got compared to when i get extra meat at Jersey mikes

Edit: I’m a weirdo who only eats 1 meal a day but still tries to get a lot of protein, my meal orders are always large and extra or double meat
