i’m trying to embed an image to a discussion board but it just gets stuck loading, it’s a picture i took off my phone then airdropped to my macbook, at first i thought converting to a jpeg would solve the problem but it just gets stuck loading whenever i click upload and embed. i’ve tried everything, making the file smaller, clearing my cache (im using chrome on a macbook pro) but no matter what i do i cant upload, help!

hi guys so i’ve been heavily debating getting a hamster lately, i fell in love with this robo hamster at the pet store (ik it’s not the best place to get hammys but it’s my only option rn) but upon doing research ive seen that they’re not the most ‘social’ hamsters and may be harder to bond with since they’re so small, with that being said does anyone have any experience with them, or am i better off getting a different breed of hamster?

also is it really worth it? and how much care do they truly require? my mom was also worried about the smell

just looking for any personal advice for a potential new hamster owner

edit i just realized that this should be posted under the question flair but im unsure how to change it

so my (18f) bf (18m) and i have been together for almost a year (it’ll be a year in about 2 weeks) and he has been wanting to “do it” for quite some time now, me on the other hand, while i *want* to do it, i don’t feel quite ready yet.

i can’t drive yet nor do i have a job, so jumping into something like that where the potential consequences can be life-changing just doesn’t feel smart to me, because if something goes wrong what would i do? not to mention the stakes just feel a little bit higher for me as the girl then for him as a guy.

it’s not that i never want to do it, i just want to be in a position in my life where if something did happen, i’d be able to take care of it myself without feeling totally helpless.

i’ve told him all of this multiple times but (up until today) he’s still seemed so hopeful that i’d change my mind (bringing a condom every time he comes over) we had a long talk about it today and he said that he’ll stop asking and that when i’m ready ill have to come to him, but i feel so incredibly guilty for not wanting to. he’s being so understanding about it even though he seemed disappointed, i feel so bad for denying him this, especially since we’ve been together for a while now, i just don’t feel prepared and im an incredibly anxious person and i know that if i did decide to do it now the potential consequences of having a kid is all i’d ever be able to think about after it’s done. i just can’t stop feeling guilty and bad for repeatedly telling him no over and over again, i really do love him, i just don’t feel ready to go this far because of what could happen.

how do i stop feeling less guilty about this? or less anxious of doing it? idk just some advice and comfort would be greatly appreciated.

for example all of the in game egg pets, i have so many but nothing to do with them, its not like anybody likes to trade for them? do i just release them?? id really like to be able to trade them for out of game randoms but i dont think thats possible

i’m lowkey bored and i could use some money so i’d like to try pet sitting!

*family method only obviously*, and i wont ‘charge’ anything, as the money already seems like charging enough!
