absolutely SICK of this "north end" bs at union station

idc about the logistics of it or why they do it but having to walk the length of an entire train to get to mine and compete with 50+ people to squeeze into one door bc the platform runs off just ruins my entire afternoon

double standard with supervisors

maybe not the same extent, anybody else have this problem of supervisors with a do as i say not as i do? my supervisors are almost never in the office. ive worked at my current agency for a year and met my direct supervisor once in person. she is so hardcore on pushing the rules on us, we need to be in person, on time, teams status green every second of every day, yet shes never there. before you say "she probably has reasonable accommodations" or something, the woman lives within walking distance, has no visible disability, and is very cynical regarding reasonable accommodation to begin with (once denying telework to a woman who broke her leg and couldnt drive for a month, telling her she could take the metro instead, and a woman who has chronic migraines heavily caused by fluorescent lighting who has passed out multiple times bc of them, both with doctors notes) and leadership does NOTHING. we have all complained, all gone to eeoc. she once denied time off for a woman to attend her brothers funeral. this woman is out of control and theres literally nothing we can do. she gave me 2's across the board on my performance review because i hadnt been there long enough for her to evaluate my performance. lady ive met you once and ive been here a full year. i almost want to say shes on some gross power trip. id quit but its been so tough to look for a better job since the drp.

edit for grammar and sentence structure lol

thank you conductors!

I know we all have our grievances with MARC, but as a commuter who's used it everyday for 3 years, I'll say (on the Penn Line at least) I've never had a bad experience with the conductors. Always helpful and available, smiling, and friendly. Thank you conductors for making a miserable commute less miserable!❤️

@ gallery place - red line wyd?

I get that there's constructing but a 12 minute queue during rush hour is criminal. I've been here for almost 45 minutes and missed 4 or 5 trains because NOBODY WILL MOVE TO THE CENTER or there just simply was never any room to even get on the train to begin with. im tired.

edit: also if you have a rolling backpack or something like that to go to work and you haul that thing on the train during rush hour, kindly, you suck

How do you get rid of atrophic acne scarring on face?

I think thats what its called, but ya know the depressed, indented type? A friend of mine did a halo laser treatment at a medspa, but it was like $4000 and I don't have that kind of money😭 Also got a subcision consultation and that's insanely pricey too. So other than those what can I do? And if you say microneedling, those are fighting words
