Im new to keeping stick insecte eggs. I been waiting for 2 months and still havent got hatched yet but it seems there is some sort of brown stuff coming out of it... idk what it is but its hatching? the top seems off and it came off..
I havent gotten the gecko yet but I been trying to figuring out how the fuck should I keep it at little over 90F in warm hide while keeping constant 90-95 in warm side. I do not get it.. I set the thermostat for dhp 75w to 95F currently and sometime the hot spot goes up to 100F or even abit more.. and warm hide goes up to 88F but warm side is 88-90F. I do not get how people are keeping it constant temp 90F. All AFT keepers told me to keep it ~90F unlike leopard gecko can have 90-100F basking spot. for some reason, I cannot go below 100F for hotspot..
I got him few months ago and I did fecal testing twice and even full health exam with exotic vet right after and the result came nothing no parasites/bacteria. I been giving him betadine bath and ointment every 12 hrs because he lost his toe when I got him and vet recommend me to do it. im keeping him 44 gallon tank with 80F hot side and 76-77F cold side. 88-90% humidity all the time. shitload of plants cover including 6 hides. he was pooping fine before but he isnt now. I saw him eat but i havent seen him eat recently and Im guessing he is eating since number of feeders disappears next day.. wtf is going on. i been feeding him with crickets, hornworm, waxworm, mealworm, and superworm every other day. I want to feed him roaches but its fucking expensive here in canada cuz you get 10 roaches for 60 cad. I deep clean his enclosure recently and seems like he is getting use to it? maybe thats cause him not pooping?
im not sure if it was because i handle him once a month. I often hear clicking sound and i can even barely hear it when I handle him but it seems like when I get close to him, it gets a bit louder sometime. Im not sure if its relate to RI and I already noticed it before I did vet visit 3 freaking times. Not a single vet told me this issue while they did full health examination on him and I forgot to tell them about it. there is no fluid discharge around his nose nor shown any sign of any RI related behaviour except this.....if anyone know what the fuck is going on please help
