Too dark

Seems like it could be an interesting game but it seems to keep tossing me in areas that are too dark. Where all I’m doing is playing hunt the pixel on a dark screen. Is this fun or interesting? I can’t seem to find any setting on my monitor or within the game that makes it so I can actually see what I’m doing.

Era 100 plus Sonos One

Hi, we have a four speaker Sonos one system. It’s insane and painful that it doesn’t have a way to Bluetooth connect.

I just bought ERA 100 with the expectation that the grouping feature would allow me to connect to the Erie 100 and play on all five speakers.

It doesn’t work.

I can create a grouping of five speakers and then play on all five from the Sonos app but as soon as I connect from Bluetooth the Sonos ones drop off and it only plays on the ERA 100.

Is this supposed to work? And even if it works, is there a way for it to hold the grouping or is that gonna have to be set up every time Bluetooth connects?

Non-spoiler tips please

I’ve made it “end” of Act 1
Once after many tries, and got my butt thoroughly kicked.

I usually die at the end of the second map , and occasionally at the first or third map. Quite a few hours in now.

I’m open to any tips or tricks you wanna share with me that aren’t too spoiler-y. I’m having fun with it, but I really am at the edge of frustration.

I’m usually killed by the prospector. I feel like I can finally pass the fisherman.

I misunderstood the mechanics of the death card for many of my first attempts so my choices there are not too great. I don’t know whether or not they rotate out or getting a random selection of the previous ones. Some of them are very good (once I understood the mechanism ) but most of them are meh.

Tell me why your game is better.

They’re so so many games to choose from.

I wish devs and marketing teams would spend a fraction of their effort telling people what’s different or better than the games they were inspired by.

What issues they noticed with the original game(s) that their game attempts to fix, what did the original game do that was interesting but limited , and that they expanded on.

Just saying your game is in the “grand tradition of” or “inspired” by games I know and love is not a selling proposition.

Give me good reasons to try a game and learn a new interface .

I appreciate how much effort devs put in to develop a great, robust game and makes me sad that they don’t take a few extra steps to really intrigue their most likely audience.

Amazon has process called the PRFAQ. Before you spend a single hour developing and designing product, you write the press release as if the product is about to launch, telling people why they should be excited about your product and why it’s important and different and groundbreaking. It’s all fake , and never shared with the outside World. — you pretend the product is ready, including even fake testimonials!

The idea is if you can’t assemble one or two pages of truly exciting comments about the product ,you don’t even actually even start to develop the product! Many many ideas are killed before the first Hour is spent developing because the PFAQ is uncompelling.

I think devs could take a page from this approach

No spoilers, but…

I’m stuck in a tree in the scout camp. I’ll have to restart the fishing day to get out. :(

Honestly, I’m quite a few hours in and I have yet to make anything that I would remotely consider a game-like decision.

If this whole thing is just an on-rails written story that I just experience while tediously looking for climbable rocks and narrow paths, please let me know and I’ll move onto something else.

If there’s an actual game somewhere here coming up, let me know and I’ll push through.

The voice acting , the scenery, and the story setting are all admittedly very nice, kudos to the team, but I don’t see anything resembling a participative game yet where my decisions matter.
