Best (budget) all-round lens for Canon EOS 600D (APS-C)? I've narrowed down to 4 options. Thanks!

After a ton of research, and narrowing down my budget, I've still yet to choose between 4 beatiful lenses. I will use it for traveling, areal and landscape photography, aviaton, butterflies and plants, wildlife (for as far as it goes in Belgium) and maybe even a bit of astrophotography. My camera is an EOS 600D, so APS-C-sized sensor. I already have an EF-S 55-250 IS II, but I want an upgrade, since this lens is getting a bit old.

Here is the list I've made so far (all second-hand, so that it fits in my budget):

  • EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS STM (€185)
  • EF 70-200mm f4 L IS USM (€375)
  • EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM (€470)
  • EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM (€500)

Does anyone have experience with these lenses? Taken the price in account, what would be the best value for money? I have no need for fancy features, but a nice sharp lens would be amazing. I already have quite a lot of experience with my kit now (EF 50mm f1.8 is also in my collection). I take care of my stuff, this is now my 6th year with this setup. Should I save up a bit more or just go with a cheaper lens? Thanks in advance!

2nd hand EF 70-200L f4 IS USM for €550, good deal?

I can buy the lens on a local marketplace for €550 or less. It would ben for my EOS 600D (APS-C). Should I go check it out or should I just buy a second-hand EF 70-300mm STM (+/- €400) with that money? If so, any tips for making sure there is nothing wrong with it? Thanks in advance! 😊

500m in 11 minutes, is that good?

I have little experience in swimming, but liked it since I was little. I'm on vacation now and we have this swimming pool of 10mx5m. I just swam 50 lengths, a total of 500m, in 11 minutes. Is this okay, or not even close because of the short distance before turning again?
