Female Lead = Perfect Bella Swan

While watching this entire show, my recurring thoughts every few seconds have been about how much the female lead would have made the perfect Bella Swan in The Twilight saga movies. She reminds me of Kristen Stewart but prettier and with the excellent acting chops.
I wish they would make a continuation of the Twilight movies and cast her…or a Twilight tv show and cast her as Bella…

In fact, the male lead has such great chemistry with her and I think he would be great as Edward Cullen too!!….he just needs to dye his hair brown lol. He really fits for Edward too and it would be a perfect casting. They just need to learn to speak English with American accents and it would be SO good. I keep getting Twilight saga vibes from this on screen pair (but if Twilight was set in preppy London lol.)

Anyone else have this thought or am I just nuts? lol

Extra BG Work?

So, I have been out of the acting world for 6 years. I have some pretty good roles on my resume from films that made it to limited theatrical release and straight to DVD in stores as well as some that went to Netflix for a limited time. I want to get back into acting and actually pursue it in the near future BUT right now I need to make more money than I’m making in a faster capacity and my best option is to do background work. I have no idea how to go about this so that I can consistently get at least 3 background jobs per month. I haven’t done background work in 15 years so I don’t know what to do and where to find backgrounds easily. I’m in NY by the way. Is Central Casting still the best bet for background work?

I am also concerned about AI in regards to background work. How do I go forward to protect myself from anything that could happen to steal my likeness for AI or anything along those lines regarding AI?

Also, I am wondering if I need to be concerned about the background work affecting future auditions/casting once I truly get back into the full swing of pursuing it again. Do I need to be careful of what type of projects I accept so that I am able to be cast in the future for a speaking role? Like should I avoid most TV projects? I don’t know if it’s difficult to get a speaking role if you’ve already been on a show as an extra. Please let me know your advice and experiences as well!

How to restore photo’s “Front Camera Lens” metadata?

On iPhone photos, the metadata includes things like the date, time, location, device, and the lens used (for example, “Front Camera Lens” and the focal length). After I edit a photo in Photoshop or other editing software, most of the metadata stays, but the “Front Camera Lens” information or “Main Camera” as well as the mm are removed.
Is there any way to edit the metadata and add that lens information back? I already know how to edit the date and time using an EXIF app, but I haven’t found a way to restore the lens-used field. Is this possible, and if so, what software can do it?

I have iPhone 17pro. iOS 26.3

Heating oil prices?

I’m in NY in the United States. I’m trying to decide whether to lock in a home heating oil ceiling price plan, and I’d love to hear from people who actually follow the oil markets.
Here’s my situation:
On July 6, I was quoted a ceiling price of $5.389/gallon.
On July 28, after crude oil had risen, the quoted ceiling increased to $6.439/gallon, but the company offered a $1.00/gallon discount, bringing the effective ceiling to about $5.439/gallon.
The plan works so that if the market price drops below my ceiling, I pay the lower market price. If prices rise above the ceiling, I pay the ceiling price.
I don’t actually need oil until around October, so I still have some time to decide.
My question is:
If you were in my position, would you lock in now, or would you keep waiting and checking prices over the next couple of months?
With everything going on like Middle East tensions, OPEC, inventories, refinery activity, demand, etc. do you think the overall risk is that heating oil prices are more likely to move higher than lower before October, or is it still reasonable to wait?
I know nobody can predict the future, and I’m not asking for financial advice. I’m just interested in hearing how people who follow the energy markets would think through this decision on the heating oil ceiling plan price?

Heating oil protection plan?

Would you lock in now or wait? This is in regards to heating oil.

Spoke to heating oil company. July 6, I was quoted $5.389/gallon from the company for their Ceiling Protection Plan. In July 28, I was quoted $6.439/gallon, but the representative said she’d give me a $1.00/gallon discount, bringing it down to about $5.439/gallon if I enrolled that day. She also said I can call back any day before October (my next oil service is in October), and they’ll quote me that day’s market price if I want to wait and see if oil price goes down…

I was surprised the price went up so much to 6.4! I was also surprised that she offered $1 off even if I called again the next day, she said she’d give me the $1 off but…. Today (July 29), crude oil has moved up again because of renewed Middle East tensions, so I’m worried today’s quote could already be higher than her last quote she gave me even with the $1 off.

The problem is that I don’t need oil until October, so I’m trying to decide whether to lock in now or keep checking the price every day with the company. And if there will be a chance for a lower ceiling price before October.

One other question I have is about how these ceiling plans work in practice. If the market price drops below your ceiling price, how does the customer know they’re actually being charged the lower market price? Is there a way to verify the daily price the company is using, or do you just have to trust that it’s being honored? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through this before.

If you were in my position, would you lock in now or wait and hope prices come down before October? I’d love to hear what others would do.

Heating oil price?

I’m looking for some opinions from other Long Islanders, especially anyone who’s used the company Frank Bros for heating oil.

SKII Essence reaction

So I tried SKII Essence for the first time and have applied it about 5 times. I noticed pretty soon after first application that my skin was acting up a little bit but I continued and am already going to give up I think.☹️ I never ever get zits and my skin was looking smooth before I used this. Now, I have gotten small bumps and I noticed more clogged pores, pores on my forehead (which I didn’t have before), bumps on my forehead and face that are tiny like orange peel texture. Then I developed a tiny bit of itchy sensations which turned into angry red bumps and then left pink acne marks. I wondered if this is purging but even if it is, I don’t think I’m going to risk continuing just to see if it gets better. I am bummed though because I also noticed that my skin tone looked more even (oddly enough) and I noticed my under eyes looking hydrated and less wrinkled which was great! And my bags under my eyes maybe looked much better….but I’m not sure if that’s all in my head to be honest.

I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience with this Essence actually helping the bags under the eyes or is it unlikely to help with that? Maybe I’m attributing it to the Essence but it could just be better sleep 😆lol. A part of me wants to continue to use it under and around my eyes only…not sure if it’s worth keeping for that reason. I did notice even some tiny bumps forming under my eyes where it meets the cheeks and under eyes….so I’m worried it would continue to create more bumps around my eyes as well. What a bummer. Has anyone had any of these things happen with this product?

[Product Question] SKII

I’ve just started using the SKII Essence and am wondering if it’s normal to feel some tingling and itchiness after application? Some itchiness sometimes throughout the day in just a few areas of my face. It can feel like a sudden sharp sting for a split second. With this product, is it normal to purge or something? I’m not sure if this is purging or what. Cause I’m noticing some bumps like very tiny ones coming to the surface in some areas of my face. It’s hard for me to tell because one of my issues already is that I’ve had tiny bumps on my face for a decade anyway as it is…but these are new tiny bumps. Also, this is my 4th application and am noticing that I’m waking up with oily skin. I’m not sure what to think…if this is bad for my skin or doing its job. I would love to hear other’s experience with this essence? And your opinions!

[Product Question] SKII Essence rubber smell?

Please help! I bought a bottle of SKII Essence and this is my first time trying it. I got it from Amazon but it says it is sold by SKII - US so it’s the official SKII store. But I’m wondering is it supposed to smell almost like rubber or a faint hint of maybe something sort of like gasoline? I can’t describe the smell but those are the best I can come up with. It reminds me of the smell of something made of rubber right out of the factory. It’s quite bothersome. Also, the product sunk into my skin almost immediately and disappeared…there is no hint of tackiness and no residue even a little bit. Only the smell. It almost feels like my skin became more dry since putting it on too, it just feels more dry and also tight. Is it ok to use this product alone without moisturizer? I have to be sure I won’t break out and I dislike mixing products cause my skin always gets mad if I mix so I have to play it safe and use only one product per night.

Anyway, I want to know if my essence might be a bad one or something? How should the essence smell, feel and perform ?

I read that it should smell like something fermented but….it smells like rubber or reminds me of gasoline so that seems different 😳

Old Make-Up on Skin?

I loved a highlighter back in 2017. It’s been my eyeshadow for 9 yrs and I haven’t found anything to replace it although I’ve bought and tried at least 50 products in an attempt to get the same shade, highlight, sheen etc. it’s been a struggle. I finally ran out of the few I had stocked up on. I found the highlighter on eBay but am second guessing if it’s going to be okay to continue using. It was made in 2017. If I buy it now, it will take me somewhere along 6 to 8 yrs to finish it lol. I use it as eyeshadow only. Is this a bad idea and concerning for my skin and eyes? Or it’s fine? I heard powder or highlighter doesn’t really ever age and is ok to use but I’m not sure. Would love opinions

Dating

I don’t have experience with widowed men but would like some advice on the matter. So I thought I’d try this subreddit to see if anyone can share some advice.

I was talking to a man on a dating app and he lied about the timeframe of how long ago she passed away by adding on 3 extra months and saying he’s been single for 5 months now but then he later messed up and said she passed away 8 months ago... and then when I said something he said it was a typo. I was able to find information on her and him and know that she passed 2.5 months ago in reality. The way it happened sounds very traumatic and also publicized and some people online thought he had something to do with her death for a while. They were together a total of three years (including pre-marriage) and were basically newlyweds for half a year. Not sure what I’m asking here…but I’m used to men lying and inflating the time frame of a breakup to sound like it happened a while ago lol….when it comes to recent break ups, that is so common in my experience with men. But in this situation, it feels more wrong and more odd to me to lie about the timeframe and inflate it. I’m wondering what you think and if this is an alarming behavior?
