I was just out of college and had missed a few years of Y&R when Matt raped Sharon. But I knew about him and all the other crap he pulled once I got back into the swing of watching again in the late 90s.

Now I never watched any of the other soaps Roger Howarth was on - but I assumed he played bad guys based on bits and pieces I heard about the characters he played. So when he arrived to Genoa City - I was not enthused.

And still wasn't - until he became "good" Matt.

Seriously - this guy is fantastic. I like that he's taking accountability (although somewhere in the back of my head I keep thinking it's an act). But he's just sarcastic enough to keep me entertained while not reverting to his classic dick moves.

Am I the only one? I don't want to like a rapist. And honestly, it bothers me that the Newmans don't mention that enough when rolling out reasons to hate him (they always use language like "He made Sharon's life hell").

But I really think Howarth is great in this role. I always find it so interesting when bad guys are likeable. He has definitely won me over ... even though it feels a little icky.

During the VPR days I wasn’t too crazy about Katie and Kristina. After finishing all eight episodes, I’m a fan of both.

I wanted to enjoy this show - hoping Stassi had grown out of the selfishness and shit-stirring behavior we loved (like staring at a train wreck) during VPR.

But watching her continually play the victim when friends hold a mirror up to her, telling her husband to STFU, reminding everyone how she “provides” for Beau … I found her completely unlikeable. And by proxy, I lost respect for Beau for putting up with it for so long.

I won’t lie and say I won’t watch next season - I will watch to see how Katie reacts when Stassi turns on her after the intervention. And I hope Katie dominates.

Is it weird to anyone else that whenever they show Taylor’s and Teddy’s home that they say “rental house?” Why does “rental” need to be included? When they showed Georgi’s housewarming, they didn’t say Georgi’s “rental apartment.” I know this is a stretch - but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a Stassi thing. I can hear her saying something like, “I OWN my house, bitches …” to make a tiny dig about he she owns and doesn’t rent.

I need your help, please, regarding blood pressure meds you or a loved one may have taken or are on currently. Please include the names of the meds in your replies.

• How long did it take you to find the “right” BP medication? In other words, did you have to go through several to find the fit that made you feel most like your normal self?

• Which ones did you take before finding the best one for you? Let me know side effects and dosages of those that didn’t work.

• And if you have found the holy grail, would you mind sharing your experience with what made this one the best for you?
