NPTEL exam registration payment stuck in “Pending State” – payment gateway unreachable

Hi everyone, I’m trying to register for an NPTEL certification exam, but I’m facing an issue with the payment.

When I tried to make the payment, it showed “Payment Gateway Unreachable” and the payment was not successful. Now my payment status is showing “Payment Is In Pending State” with a message saying that NPTEL has not received the payment confirmation yet.

The problem is that I’m not getting an option to make a fresh payment, and I’m seeing the same issue even when I try to register/pay for another course that I had not previously registered for.

Has anyone else been facing the same payment gateway/pending payment issue today? And has anyone received any information about the deadline extension?

Any information from someone experiencing the same issue or who has successfully registered today would be really helpful. Thanks!

It's literally impossible to Swap to Monero

I just spent literally hours trying to swap USDT for XMR and I am absolutely furious. Tried an instant swap and it gave me brutal slippage (~15% on 1K) Then tried another and froze my swap halfway through and left my funds stuck. Again another one worked but the fees were criminal. I paid nearly double what I should have.

I am so tired of this nonsense. What are you guys actually using to swap to XMR because clearly I am doing something wrong and I need help

Are internship posts shared by multiple people with different email IDs legitimate?

I am new to LinkedIn and I've noticed something that has me a bit confused.

Sometimes I see the exact same internship post for a company being shared by multiple people, but instead of asking applicants to apply through the company's website, each person asks us to send our resume to their own email ID.

Are these usually legitimate referral/campus ambassador/recruitment posts, or are they something to be cautious about?

If you've applied through posts like these, were they genuine. Did you actually get an interview or internship?

How do you verify whether they're real before sending your resume?

I'd appreciate any advice or experiences. Thanks!

MBA HR Student - What resume-worthy HR projects can I do on my own?

Hi everyone, I'm currently a second-year MBA student specializing in Human Resources. I want to build a strong resume before applying for internships and full-time HR roles, especially in MNCs.

The problem is that I don't have much practical HR experience yet, so I'm looking for projects that I can do independently and showcase on my resume or LinkedIn.

Could you suggest projects that:

  • Recruiters actually find valuable.
  • Can be completed individually.
  • Use real or publicly available data.
  • Help me stand out during internship interviews.

If you've hired HR interns or recently landed an HR internship, I'd really appreciate knowing what projects made the biggest difference on your resume.

Thanks in advance!

Why would a guy keep making eye contact with me but ask for my friend’s number?

Okay I genuinely can’t tell if I’m overthinking this or if there’s actually something going on 😭

So I’m at a training academy and there’s this guy. First time I noticed him, he was talking to my friend (she was sitting beside him) and fully engaged in conversation, but he kept glancing at me multiple times in between. I was sitting behind them diagonally.

Then one day me and my friend went to a shop near the center and he came there too with his friend. He bought chocolates and told my friend to give me one too. I refused because I genuinely didn’t like that chocolate, but later I felt bad thinking maybe it came off rude 😭

After that, whenever we’re in the same room somehow him and his friend keep looking at me?? We’ve had eye contact so many times but I always look away quickly because I don’t want to make things awkward or assume things.

One time during practicals they were leaving the room and he literally came and walked side by side with me while going out, but still didn’t say anything.

Now the confusing part is I found out he asked for my friend’s number and teases her saying he’ll check her exam result and stuff like that. So now I feel like maybe I imagined everything because why would he ask for HER number if he was interested in me 😭

Also we have different classes so we don’t meet that often and he never really got a chance to properly talk to me because whenever I was around, he wasn’t talking to my friend either. It’s mostly just eye contact and weird silent tension.

Am I overthinking this??
