If I wanted to do a spell or ritual to get a close loved one to stop doing drugs and other addictions?

I truly don't understand the "everyone is you pushed out" narrative. ive said several times that you can "assume" someone will have a certain personality and end up wrong after getting to know them, which is called "passing judgment," and its something weve all done. but a better example is: say you meet somoene who has a sweet personality, very friendly, and they have a baby face. right?? but turns out, after getting to know them, you find out they once went to prison and did 5 years for theft or domestic violence or something crazy. I'm pretty sure that would shock you based on what you initially "assumed" theyd be like, right?? thats what i mean. my "assumptions" won't turn that person (who, again, has the baby face and sweet personality) into whatever I "assumed" they'd be. thats also why they say "looks can be deceiving," cause you can look innocent and have a past that no one would think or assume you'd have. so how on earth does my "assumptions" change a person?? I can't bend reality and make that persons past cease to exist just cause i initially "assumed" theyd were a sweet and friendly person and don't look like they've done bad things. it doesn't make sense🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Does anyone have experience or success stories (or non successful stories) about times where they made Jar Spells and Ammonia Jars?? I see mixed answers, some say all work instantly, some say only 1 of those Jars worked and the others didn't, and some even say they all work/some only work but it wasnt INSTANT like how others say it was for them. Ive been especially curious about Ammonia Jars and have been making sure to watch as many videos as I can and even use ChatGPT to make sure i understand before doing it cause from what ive learned so far you have to write the OPPOSITE of whatever you want and the Ammonia Jar flips and reverses that specific thing or situation, right??

Yes, I'm already aware that any spells or hoodoo or witchcraft or rituals that you do are all about INTENSION and that (for the most part) you still have to take action and do some of the work yourself and not just sit back and let "blind faith and hope and wishful thinking" do the work for you. Thats the issue i have with the Law of Assumption, "just affirm, persist, and ignore the 3D and BOOM you can manifest without doin the work." NO, thats not realistic LOL🤣🙄so with all that said...

Say someone has a vision board that they made and they've written in detail what they want and even have pics taped and glued onto the board to make it more realistic and vivid and believable for them, would placing specific crystals ontop of the vision board amplify the likelihood of it manifesting? Or maybe they keep their board near an alter that they have and pray to, would that help amplify their visions and desires coming true? Or how about a ritual where they look in the mirror and say affirmations or read what they've written outloud while having 1 or both hands touching the vision board, would that help it come to life faster? Or maybe someone who does Libations, if they have a ritual where they have to be near or in the same space or room as their vision board while doin the Libations, would that increase the chances of manifesting??

This might be a dumb question, but what spells are GARANTEED to work EVERYTIME?? Lots of people try the same things/spells as everyone else , but they dont get results. So what's a spell or ritual that works for EVERYONE?

Any movie recommendations, specially about young males, that are coming of age? Boys that deal with bullying, having trouble fitting in, maybe they don't have great relationships with their parents, even movies that highlight relationships with big/little brothers or even father/sons. I really enjoy dynamics with big brothers protecting and looking out for their little brothers, especially if he doesnt fit in at school. No, that don't mean they gotta get along and never fight or argue, haha! Brothers/fathers and sons argue sometimes (obviously)

A few movies I'll use as examples: Jet Boy (2001), Honey Boy (2019), Local Boys (2002), and even The Black Phone (2021), (yes I know that one's a horror movie, but I love how it still shows the troubles of young boy hood in school and even how much his little sis loves and looks out for him and helps look for him after he goes missing).

I'm curious, do 2 dollar bills have spiritual meaning? I recently recieved 2 of them as a tip at my job, not in the same day though, but in the same week. I was a little surprised and started wondering if they meant something spirituality. Yes, I know you can easily go to your bank and have them give you however many you want, but people always say "money is energy," therefore i got curious and wanted to know if maybe it was a sign, being that I pray to my ancestors often for clarity and for signs.

Hey everyone. I wasn't successful in finding sub reddits for hoodoo specifically so I hope its okay to post here. If anyone knows any good sub reddits for that id love a link in the comments😁I wont make this too long, I just wanted to ask a couple questions cause I'm in search for a little guidance and recently haven't been speaking with God very much based on recent life changing events for me and my family💔(i grew up Christian and have been lookin outside of religion, just for a little more context, but i still believe in God, I just don't think Praying works for me very much).

Ive recently been watching LOTS of TikToks about witch craft and hoodoo and the more I learn, the more curious I get. So if theres anyone here who practices witchcraft or hoodoo, what are some good Protection Spells?? Or does anyone mix Manifestation with HooDoo/and or witchcraft?? I think the "new age" way Law of Assumption is taught is BS and is very unrealistic and not practical or logical, but I do enjoy writing affirmations in GREAT DETAIL as if I'm already have the life I want. If anyone makes vision boards, I'm curious, what do you guys do to help amplify and increase the chances of everything coming to life? I had this thought of putting crystals ontop of my vision board (or just somewhere close by), or maybe have an Alter and keep my vision board near it... maybe?? (Yes, I know, take ACTION!!!! thats why i dont like how the Law of Assumption is taught cause most tell it as if you can pull shit out of thin air just by "assuming," but again, thats not realistic)

I just read a post here by someone that asked if manifestation (LOA) "is just confirmation bias?" and it really has me thinking...

(Copy and Paste of my comment): I feel manifestation is real but I don't like this "new age" way that its taught. Its not realistic or logical in anyway, and most of these "fake gurus" are just tryna sell courses and people are delusional enough to keep givin them their money🤦🏽‍♀️🙄💀💀

1 example is how they argue that its science by mentioning The Reticular Activating System, which is when your brain points out things that you're actively focusing on or constantly thinkin about. In my opinion, this DOESN'T prove The Law of Assumption works the way its taught, but instead is simply just your mind making certain things stand out because, again, you're heavily focusing on it. Seeing someone's name you're inlove with EVERYWHERE is the best example cause I went through that for a while, but that didn't mean "I manifested seeing that person's name constantly," I just didn't notice it before it became my dominant thoughts. That persons name was always visible, it just didn't stand out prior to me fallin inlove with them.

Lastly, I don't like how they gaslight you into thinkin you can pull things out of thin air with a simple "assumption" and thats not true or realistic, cause our assumptions aren't always right. Your assumptions CAN'T control the weather, mess with anyone's free will, or make ANYTHING in general True or False. To me, I think were powerful as humans and we're just not aware, but that also doesn't mean we're not limited. There's things that we CAN'T control no matter what. If that was the case then we would be able to do things, like bringing dead loved ones back to life, or, as I just mentioned, control the weather, and a BUNCH of other things.

I can't wrap my head around how "assumptions" create your realty. As we all know, you can "assume" ANYTHING but it doesn't mean its fact, nor does "assuming" anything automatically make things true or false. Its 50/50. You can be right but you can also be wrong sometimes. I SERIOUSLY want to apply it to my life but I havent been successful with it cause, again, the way its taught doesn't sit right with me, nor is it, again, practical, logical, or realistic.

Think about a person who is in a relationship and is MADLY in love with their partner, (they say "love is blind"), and they're being cheated on. But because "love is blind," they believe (a.k.a "assume") they're NOT being cheated on. Their "assumption" about their partner NOT cheating on them doesnt magically stop their partner from doing it.

I live in the Midwest and we have VERY bipolar weather this time of year, also in the Fall. I can look at my phone and check the weather and choose to believe (a.k.a "assume") the weather predictions are accurate, just for the day to go on and the EXACT OPPOSITE happens. My "assumption" that the weather predictions were correct didn't make the weather comply with the weather apps/channels predictions. And yes, other times, my "assumption" and the weather predictions play out 100% accurately, but NOT ALL THE TIME!!!!

I don't question or challenge LOA just to simply be negative or "rage bait" people, or whatever else people who teach or practice LOA tend to think, I question this "law" cause its seriously not practical, realistic, or logical. If this law worked then it would WORK FOR ALL OF US, rather than only working for some and not others. When something works it works for EVERYONE. It wouldn't be this thing where you gotta try all these different techniques and follow all these rules and be "delusional."
