Can’t get cursed key to work properly or disappear-mario maker 2, switch

My son is playing mariomaker 2 on his switch. He used a cursed key in a level but has since deleted the key then the whole level. Now whenever he tries to place a key it is automatically a cursed key, not a normal one, and he can’t seem to make it work. I’ve looked and although not an expert it is a normal key, but as he plays the level and touches the key he doesn’t pick it up, it bumps itself offscreen and disappears.

What is he doing wrong? I’m no expert at this and not much help in figuring it out!

Shea is awful

I’m catching up on season 12 and am on episode 6, the one after Shea revealed his cheating.

This man is infuriating me!! He scrambled to tell Annabelle what happened and tried to downplay it before his ex got there. Annabelle was having none of it and now he has the audacity to say it’s not cheating!!

You’re kissing other women, flirting and looking at their breasts, how is that just party lifestyle?! And then he says he understands how she feels but she’s overreacting.

Firstly if you understand you wouldn’t say she’s overreacting. Secondly if you understand how it makes her feel why would you do it?! You’ve done it because you wanted to, and you’re trying to excuse and justify by saying it’s not cheating and it’s just the party lifestyle.

This seasons cast sucks, between Shea, Mido and Catie I don’t know who I dislike more. And add to that she washed him! Not in a sexy ‘let me scrub your back’ kinda way, but ‘let me scrub your butt cos you’re dirty and stink’ kinda way. Major vom, felt like I could smell him through the telly.

Death of a sibling has made me want to cut off the other two

Ok so bear with me, I’ll try and keep this as simple as possible while retaining the facts. Probably be stupidly long, sorry.

I (40f) am the youngest of 4 siblings, all the rest being male, ‘Alistair’ (42), ‘Colin’ (45) and ‘Tony’ (49). My brothers have a different dad to me, and Tony had a hard relationship with our mum and my dad growing up and lived with his dad so I wasn’t as close to him, but was really close with Alistair and Colin. Alistair idolised his dad despite being treated poorly and inconsistently by him, and Colin was treated the worst-Tony fought back and Alistair was safe as the ‘baby’ so Colin took the brunt growing up, including physically and often to ‘save’ the other two. It led to huge emotional and mental problems for him and he ballooned to a large weight, 500-700lbs, couldn’t work and was basically a shut in.

We tried in many ways over the years to help him but he wouldn’t help himself. He lived in my parent’s house and paid them rent and didn’t necessarily keep it the cleanest or tidiest but did hire a cleaner. My parents (in their 70’s) recently moved 12 hours away and were planning on Colin joining them once they had sorted his accommodation, as a way to have him around family and help him lose weight. Before this was ready Alistair and Tony moved themselves into my parents house after they had gone, don’t pay rent and Alistair moved his girlfriend and their dog in too.

So unfortunately towards the end of May, Colin passed away. Tony hadn’t seen him that day so went to check on him and found him dead in bed. This was around 10.30pm at night and to their credit they called my parents and they organised an ambulance and called the appropriate services etc, and waited up all night for specialist bariatric services to show up and take him away. That is where their contribution to anything stopped.

My parents travelled 12 hours from their new home and we all got together to start making arrangements. Alistair and Tony talked to my mum like absolute shit, patronising and condescending and treating her like she has dementia (she doesn’t). Anyway, fast forward slightly the funeral is booked, I take 3 days off work, for very specific things.

Day 1-cleaning. Following Colin’s wishes mum wanted to have the wake at home to keep it simple and keep the cost down. But Tony and Alistair have completely trashed my mum and dads house, to the point it looks like a dirty hoarders house you see on the TV. Alistair has the downstairs bedroom behind the dining room, and hangs out the patio doors to smoke but he might as well not bother. He is lazy and does not walk his dog so the animal has filled the tiny outside space with urine and faeces (which he won’t clean up) and now does it inside instead, which he also rarely cleans up. The kitchen is a health hazard, Tony was too lazy to bring his rubbish down from upstairs and filled a large cupboard upstairs with bags and bags of it. So, I spent the entire day cleaning the toilet, and two reception rooms so the wake could go ahead. I scrubbed, washed, swept, scrubbed, degreased, disinfected etc. My dad was on his hands and knees (which are bad anyway) clearing the front garden they had let go despite them saying they would do it. Alistair was off work for a week and didn’t lift a finger, except the day he stood at the front door and lifted his fingers to smoke as we walked backwards and forwards doing things. Tony also contributed no cleaning saying none of it was his mess. My eldest son even took some time to help whereaa they did nothing.

Day 2-shopping and cooking. My mum and I shopped for food and took it all to my house where it was clean) and then cooked for 8 hours straight.

Day 3-the day of the funeral. I took all the food over to the house before the funeral, and then left the crematorium before everyone else to get back and get it set out and prep it all.

A few days before this I had also got several pictures printed of Colin to display, in particular a really nice one from my wedding where he was looking smart and had a little smile on his face which went on top of the coffin, and I told my mum she could keep all of these afterwards. She wanted to give me the money for them but I refused, and she said she really wanted the one that was on the coffin.

At the end of the funeral I cleared up the food and got things neat and tidy again. Alistair and Tony just bagged plates of food to save for later, and walked away without helping or even offering to clear up.

The kicker to all of this is that at the funeral they both went on about how much they loved him and how he loved his life and lived it how he wanted despite what people may think etc, when in actual fact they treated him like shit, giving him the kind of tough love they endured from their own father, even though it never got him to lose a pound. And he didn’t love his life, he was wildly depressed and desperate for love and affection. He found comfort in food and gaming because they were more reliable than people. I am far from the perfect sister, and I could have done more I’m sure, but they were sat there the morning after they found him, slagging him off saying he was never going to change and this was inevitable. Maybe it was but Christ alive, some empathy?!

Alistair also took the picture from the top of the coffin without asking, and didn’t respond to my messages asking where it was. I took it back from his room where it was jjst chucked haphazardly ona shelf after Tony shouted in my face about refusing to go look for it. I gave it back to my mum, where she announced that she would get into trouble for it. I told her if Alistair had an issue to contact me but so far radio silence.

I’m so angry with their behaviour, lack of effort (that was totally at odds with their words) and their treatment of my mum, and the disrespect of my parent’s house. The stupid thing is Alistair owns his own home with his ex that neither of them live in, and he has stored a couple of furniture items of my mum. He said she needed to get them as he was selling the house, and she asked for a bit more time and he basically said no, that he was selling to a house buying company, as is, full of whatever is left in there and if it sold before she could get it then tough…..while he lives in her house rent free and fucks it up!! Something both Alistair and Tony blame Colin for, he wasn’t the tidiest but he couldn’t even walk downstairs (and don’t want to because of the dog) let alone make all that mess. They made him a prisoner in one room before his death and with everything else too I don’t feel like I can forgive them

I don’t blame them for his death, but I do blame them for their treatment of him, and their subsequent behaviour and treatment of my mum after his death. Their entitlement, selfishness and laziness have astounded me given they preach family family. Its been 6 weeks since Colin’s death, and coming up 4 since his funeral. I didn’t see my brothers a lot before, but I get that, we’re adults with our own lives, but honestly it’s all opened my eyes to what I knew was already there and I don’t think I want to see them again. Ever. My husband says things are still raw, and not to make any rash decisions but I know he will support me if I do decide to cut them off. I just feel if this was not family no one would bat an eyelid about cutting them off for their behaviour and actions.

I guess this was mostly a rant to get it off my chest, and I could give more specific examples of things they did, but I also want to ask other opinions of this. Am I doing the right thing, or do I need to give it time? Are we all just grieving in our own way? Is this normal and I just need to let it go? Or is it ok to be angry about it all?

TLDR-one of my 3 brothers recently died and I want to cut off the other two for their obscenely selfish, lazy and entitled behaviour given their living circumstances, treatment of my mum, help and support during funeral planning, and behaviour afterwards.
