I was a disgusting child

When I was like 5-6 I would dig in my butt in the shower and fling the poop down the drain

I would also fill up with shampoo bottles with my piss because I felt like it

I pooped in a water bottle and called it my pet

I promise I am not like this anymore but I had to confess

Working as a machinist has changed my life for the better and I couldn't be happier

Im 18, and i barely graduated high school. My girlfriend broke up with me, my dad was always mad because I wasn't going to school (I realize now he was just really concerned about me graduating), I had to go to an alternative school amd I still barely made it out. Alongside this, I was getting into drugs that were also making me miserable and suicidal, I felt like I had nothing in store for me and was terrified I was going to be a bum.

After I finished school amd got my diploma, things got a little better, but I still wasnt very content with myself. Then one morning my dad woke me up and asked if I wanted to work at our family company where they cut pipes and other things for oil rigs, and I immideatly took the offer. I was scared at first, I know nothing about CNC machines, but its been a month now, and things went PERFECTLY.

I learned really fast how to use my machine, and now im able to operate it and be a very useful asset for the company. I went from being scared I was going to amount to nothing to making 50k a year at 18, and the most important thing– I finally have a good relationship with my dad, something I've always wanted my entire life. He has aspergers, and connecting with him has been really difficult for me especially as a teen constantly failing my classes and getting into trouble, but now we see and talk to eachother everyday and he's helped me independently do my work. If I keep up what im doing now, ill be on track to making six figures and maybe even be one of the owners of the company.

And on top of all this, I now have a beautiful girlfriend who is extremely sweet and kind to me. I stopped most of my drug use and just smoke weed and dabble in psycodelics now, my dad even gives me joints and I give him lsd in return lol.

So to sum it all up, I went from being in the lowest place of my life to having a awesome girlfriend, a well-paying job, and a amazing relationship with my dad. I got everything I wanted and I couldn't be happier.

I hate coffee so much and I cant comprehend how people enjoy it.

Ever since i was little, I always thought it was gross. Which makes sense, and everyone told me "Oh its and acquired taste" and "Youll like it more when your older." Im 18 now, and ive tried everything from instant coffee, espresso, regular coffee, and keurig, with different amounts of sugar and creamer. All taste like literal SHIT. I started working as a machinist and they have a pot of coffee each morning, I have to wake up at 4am each morning so I figured id give the coffee another try, just regular Folgers roast. I've forced myself to drink a cup with creamer each morning (I found out I find it even more sickening with sugar) and STILL, its horrible. I swear, people must be lying when they say they like coffee, coffee beans are naturally bitter as a DEFENSE MECHANISM TO PURPOSELY TASTE LIKE SHIT so they arent eaten, yet so many people act like its a miracle drink. I think ill be sticking to my monsters from now on.

Just bought the WH-1000x headphones, is there any way to disable the touch controls?

Bought these headphones out of impulse, and dont me wrong the noise cancelation and sound quality is great, but I hate how so many new headphones use touch controls.. I want to be able to adjust my headphones without accidentally skipping or pausing my music, id rather just do that stuff through my phone.
