What effects are amp-exclusive?

Looking for my first ever amp. I've heard that in most cases effect pedals sound better than when they're built into an amp. That's why I'm thinking about buying an amp, and buying all the effect pedals seperately (e.g. overdrive). So what amp would I be looking for? What effects do they have? Also would you recommend to do what I'm thinking of?

Aiming for a budget of up to 300 euros maybe, but can differ.

Looking for a guitar brand or series similar to the Jet (JS-400/450)

I tried the Jet JS-400 SG in a guitar shop and really liked the feel and sound of it. I've also seen the JS-450's and I think they look really good, but haven't had the chance to try them.

Since I'm going second-handed I'm trying to look as broadly as possible. I like the feel and sound of the JS-400 and the look of the JS-450 (although I'm guessing for the rest it is very similar to the JS-400). Please recommend any brands or series for me, preferably in the same price class.

Edit: I forgot to specify I'm specifically looking for HSS pickup configuration.

Looking for a guitar similar to the Sire Larry Carlton S7 HSS

Keep in mind I'm a beginner guitarist.

I tried this guitar in a guitar shop and I really liked the sound and feel of it.

I think what I mainly liked about the feeling of this guitar was the distance between each string, and the distance between the strings and the fretboard. I also like how the shape of the neck felt.

I also figured out that I definitely want HSS pickups.

I specifically tried this one: https://www.thomann.nl/intl/larry_carlton_s7_fm_tbs_new_gen.htm?shp=eyJjb3VudHJ5IjoibmwiLCJjdXJyZW5jeSI6MiwibGFuZ3VhZ2UiOjJ9&reload=1

It costs 800 euros, but I figured out I can probably find a second-handed one for at least half the price. I found a white Sire Larry Carlton S7 HSS with strap, cable and stand for 375 euros, as good as new according to the seller (I did not contact them so I'm not 100% sure about the quality of the guitar). Heres the link: https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/muziek-en-instrumenten/snaarinstrumenten-gitaren-elektrisch/m2387997398-sire-larry-carlton-sire-s7-hss-standaard-kabel-riem

My budget for a guitar is betweed 200 and 300 euros (500 euros for a guitar + amp), which I'm guessing would cost maybe 600 euros in a store? The genres I want to play are mainly alt/indie rock, but also hard rock/heavy metal.

If you could recommend anything, maybe also an amp, please do! I'm definitely getting something second-handed, so more popular brands or models are probably preferred, but give me anything.

I'm really clueless on what to look for, and I came here to help me get an idea of what I should look for.

I would like to play mainly alt/indie rock (Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Radiohead, Muse). I'd also like to play grunge (like Nirvana) and hard rock/heavy metal (AC/DC, Motörhead).

To be clear: I know basically nothing about guitars, really only a bit how to play it. I'm planning to go to a guitar shop as well, but I'd like some advice before I go.
