7 year old autistic son fixates on repeating questions and going off topic (he also has ADHD). Does it get better?

My 7 year old son struggles to focus / keep a social conversation going because he cannot stop repeating things which are off topic.

For example:
- Do you like ketchup?
- Is [insert word here] a bad word?
- Do you know “6 7”?
- Do you like protein?
- Have you ever watched Mary Poppins?

It won’t be relevant to the conversation at all, but he will bring up these random questions and repeat them many times.

Does anyone have any techniques to help minimize this or specific therapies which can help with this?

Has anyone experienced this from their child and it got better? Have they been able to have “normal” conversations?

I feel it’s partially the autism and partially the ADHD (he is not on any medication)

Any help would be appreciated!

I get a negative vibe whenever I go into Hermès. This doesn’t happen in any other luxury store.

The staff are not rude, but they’re not warm. If you aren’t immediately making a high ticket purchase they just are not interested in helping out.

This isn’t a specific boutique, I’ve noticed this internationally as well.

I regularly shop at Louis Vuitton and other luxury brands and they are the complete opposite. So warm and wanting to help. I find this extremely off-putting would rather shop elsewhere.

This is more of a rant I suppose but I find this incredibly frustrating.

Edit: I also shop at Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Dior, Chanel, Goyard… for those who think I only shop at LV 🤣 Goyard was also a horrible experience now that I think about it. Stuck up SA!

If I want to start an F&B pop up in Dubai how do I do that? Not a food truck, but food pop up for events etc.

What license would I need? And where would I be able to store ingredients? I know food should be stored in a licensed kitchen but I don’t want to partner with Cloud Kitchens because they are very expensive and I don’t actually need their kitchen facilities. Just need a place to store the food and prep the food before event.

If anyone can provide guidance on this would be very grateful! I already have the menu ready, just trying to figure out how to make it happen! Thank you 🙏🏻

Update on the Birkin 25 from my husband: I’ve decided to keep it! Need opinions on accessories now :)

A few weeks ago, I posted a question on Reddit asking if I should keep the Birkin 25 my husband purchased for me from Sotheby’s as a surprise. I was very appreciative of the gesture but was worried about “over-babying” the bag and was considering selling it.

Happy to report I listened to the majority of the comments screaming at me to keep it, and even went to Hermés to purchase myself a cute Rodeo Pegase charm to go with the bag. What do you all think?

I love the contrast of this charm and the orange nod to Hermés, but if anyone has other charm style / color recommendations which they think would go with this bag color (Vert Bosphore), would love to hear / see it! 🫶🏻

Also, to twilly or not to twilly? And if yes, any specific colors in mind?

Finasteride or Spironolactone for female with a hysterectomy?

As a 34-year-old female who has had a hysterectomy (meaning zero pregnancy risk), is Finasteride clinically more effective than Spironolactone for mid-scalp hair loss? I've been on Minoxidil for 5 months with good hairline results but poor mid-scalp results. I want to know which oral medication is actually superior for women when the risk of birth defects is completely removed.

My husband bought me a Birkin from Sothebys but I’m not sure I want to keep it

My husband wanted to surprise me and bought me a Birkin from Sothebys and spent around $17.5k. Here are the bag details:

Hermès
Limited Edition Vert Bosphore Togo and Bleu Ocean Verso
Birkin 25 Palladium Hardware, 2021

(attached is a photo of the exact bag)

It is a beautiful bag in pristine / new condition but to be honest I don’t know if I want to keep it. I have always felt like Birkins in general are too “precious” for their own good.

For context, all the bags I own are luxury ones (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Bottega Veneta, etc…) but at the same time I feel Birkins are especially more of a burden, since they are something I will be overly cautious with and won’t want to wear as often. In other words we are thankfully quite well off but $17.5k is still mind blowing to me for a luxury bag… I understand the color is considered limited edition but I still don’t feel I want to keep it.

My question is:
What do I do with it? Keep it for a few years then sell it? Or try to sell it immediately?

I don’t want to lose money on consignment etc. so where would be the best place to sell it? I would love to at least break even. 😂

Advice is much appreciated from Hérmes experts. What do you all think of the bag?

EDIT: Thank you all soo much for the comments and opinions! I have actually decided to keep it and wear it! ❤️
