Lip Tint/Lip Stain Woes

Hi Fair Olives 🫒 The only lip liners/lip color that have ever worked for me were the now discontinued sephora lip liners in the nudest, sink or suede, and hot sauce. Everything else pulls too orange/red/grey/purple/blah blah blah. Nothing ever looks quite right and I've tried all the cult favorites and recommendations (e.g., clinique black honey, mac mehr, mufe wherever walnut, whirl, ct pillow talk, etc etc).

I am running low on my discontinued shades and am curious about lip stains. I just tried the Covergirl ones in admire, natural blush, and sugy girl and they all turned purple or bright red on me. Any fair olives have any suggestions? I want to be a makeup baddie so bad fr but nothing works for me and my lips always look below par to the rest of my makeup.

Also for reference I am shade 2N in makeup by mario foundation and I ~think I am a muted fair olive. I have dark brown hair.

Fair Olives: Do You Burn in the Sun?

Hi everyone, I recently realized I am olive. Nothing has ever looked just right on me until I realized this olive undertone info. However, I was reading this post about testing undertone/sun reactions and it got me thinking, do you fair olives burn in the sun? I am very fair and have always burned in the sun. However, once I eventually get past that and start tanning I do tan pretty well but it takes a lot of sunscreen and sun exposure to get to that point. So maybe.. I'm not olive? IDK! Curious to how other fair olives react with the sun.

Help, A very Niche Cleanser Request

Hi everyone!

Context: I need some expert opinions! I have very dry, sensitive skin. I'm also allergic to capryl glycol. I also prefer products that are clean.

I wear makeup and sunscreen every day and I've tried endless cleansers and I just can't find one that works for me + removes makeup. Does anyone have any suggestions? I looked into the centella oil but I saw some reviews saying it made them break out.

Hi loves! What foundation is your favorite for dry, sensitive skin? I don't like matte and want something that isn't full coverage. The ilia serum foundation is my all time fave but it burns my skin ):

Hi everyone! I have super sensitive skin and am now 30 and I want to start using a retinol. I have been using a 0.1% (it’s the anua Korean one). And I notice that it feels prickly on my skin when I apply it, but also the next morning when I wash it off. Is this normal? It doesn’t seem to be irritating my skin at all (it looks v glowy) but i wanted to check w you all

delete if not allowed, but i found this site where you can input your makeup shades and it gives you recommendations for other beauty products. has anyone else tried it/had any luck with it? not sure how accurate it is but could've really used this before the sephora sale lol. I have wasted so much money on lipstick and blush (olive undertone probs) but I have HIGH hopes https://www.skinshadefinder.com/
