How do yiu keep track of it all?!

From another subreddit, I read that the reason there are a long line empty store fronts is because of the loan/lease terms & conditions, basically prohibiting the rental price to go down to meet market demand.

I was of the understanding that markets clear in the free market, but apparently the market isn't clearly? Is this dynamic described above truly capitalism and/or the free market? Or is it not capitalism or the free market at all? Why or why not?

For example: One place I go to does is open from 7PM-2AM. 30 minutes lessons at 7:30PM and 8:30PM. Usually beginner or improver. Occasionally Intermediate. And then open dance the rest of the night. Sometimes the go go girls will come out and lead the dance floor on a follow along dance. But otherwise, it is either you know it or you don't.

How is the experience going from the Metro Station to Langer’s and back? The area doesn’t have the greatest reputation. But maybe things have changed? How are your recent experiences?

I love seeing a dance floor split. Especially when the floor is full on both dances. It’s fun to do as a dancer, and just as an observer, watching two different choreographies at the same time.

There was this strange phenomenon recently. The DJ called for “Redneck Angel”, but played a song swap custom mix of Hip Hop Music. While the dance floor was full of line dances, the DJ’s selection also brought out a bunch non-line dances, just dancing like they were non-country night club.

Like half the floor was line dancers, and half the floor was “regular dancers”, where most of the time it is just line dancers. If there are regular dances, it is maybe one or two people, but this was like almost half the floor.

What songs and “line dances” have you seen bring out regular dancers to the floor en masse?

It was cool to see a super full dance floor, of line dancers and regular dances just dancing it out.
